Funcom has posted a little information about Blue Orb's SwitchBlade application, which allows players the ability to play several games, including Age of Conan, with an Xbox 360 controller.
Blue Orb, creators of the intuitive SwitchBlade™ application that allows gamers to play PC games with an Xbox 360 controller, demonstrated their latest Blade for Age of Conan at the Funcom booth during this year’s Games Convention.
SwitchBlade is an easy to use application that brings a fully configured game controller interface and experience to any PC game. Once SwitchBlade is installed, it provides a console gaming experience for the gamer looking for a new way to play popular PC games. Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures is the latest PC game supported by SwitchBlade, and the application’s preconfigured key bindings map the Xbox 360 controller buttons to the most commonly used Conan controls.

Awesome.
Now why would any intelligent being use a controller on a PC when a keyboard and mouse is lightyears better?
Have to put this product on the top of my absurd list .
"Hi. You have a cutting-edge PC, so why not attach a console controller and limit yourself like the 360 owners? After all, AoC was designed to be console-friendly and, hence, limited by default."
Meh. Nothing innovative about going backwards.
Now, an interface that would let me use a mouse and keyboard on a 360 and/or PS3, to play stuff like MoH, Halo, Haze or such and actually stop them from being frustrating? Give! Now! :P
this game is as fucked up without switchblade....
Translation:
"We'll never get AoC released on Xbox360 as promised due to our games failure completely blowing any deal with Microsoft, but you can use your Xbox360 controller and pretend now!!!"

Because intelligent people understand it is a choice, you know something they can or can not use, it's not needed, it is a option, but then a person must be intelligent to understand it's merly a CHOICE.
