I live in Canada and I want someone else to confirm this. I pre-ordered from ebgames on August 18th and I went into ebgames today to see if they had any preorder beta keys. Of course they didn't and I asked when they will have the game shipped to them. They checked their system and it said September 25th. Everywhere I read says the game starts September 18th and doesn't headstart begin before this??? WTF is going on? Do we Canadians get the game way later?

Well, NA release date is 18th, last i checked, Canada was in teh NA continent, so id say ur ebgames isnt up to date. xD

The EB games I went to didn't have OB codes either. I didn't ask them about the release date though, and now since you said this I'm beginning to worry...
Futureshop has the right date, if EBgames doesn't have it just go there instead (they dont have open beta codes though)
I live in Calgary and just walked into a local ebgames the night before the preview weekend. They had one preorder box left so maybe they are in short supply.
Ive yet to see any video game be released later in Canada than the US. Its always quite in sync. While the game is undoubtedly popular, Id be shocked if you couldn't find a copy somewhere if you look on the 18th.
Gamestop sent out an email a month or so ago that stated the 16th as the new ship date for pre-orders, before that EBgames website and Gamestop displayed the release date as the 25th. So it's obviously a misinformed employee or a database error with the stores computer.
