i heard control's suck

in Everquest II
I heard from several people that everqueest controls the same way star wars galaxies does. I hope this isn't true because star wars galxies sucked ass and anything like it in everquest 2 would suck ass as well.

    SWGs controls are fully customizable, so i am not sure what you mean.

    . I always played SWG with WASD setup and thats EQII's default setup with righ-click-hold for orientation and left-click-hold for panning the camera around.

     

    Other that that it fully customizable, so if your looking for suckey I am sure you can do it thrug the setup menus :P

    From what I have been shown the Controls are very good.  Totally adaptable to your style of play and more like what I was accustomed to using in EQlive than SWG.  I think this is good news.

    I prefer using the mouse to control movement and direction.  Very handy for me, other people hate it.  Guess I just got use to it.

    Can you do everything you need to with just the mouse for EQ2? If so that would be good...

     Best controls in any mmo i have played. I don't know what they are talking about.

    Personally, I liked regular EverQuests controls, easy to use, and not annoying in any way I dont think.

    I loved the controls of swg. In fact, after playing it I found it quite difficult to get used to other games' controls. SWG had the best controls of any game I've played. So if EQ2 is similiar I'm glad.

    ps. dont have a heart attack guys, yes I hate soe but admit the controls were quite good :)

    I thought the controls in swg were fine....just that the combat sucked.

    i loved the SWG controls, if they are like that, that is good news. you can customize it nicely.

    I believe you can make the EQ2 control's exactly as you liked them in EQlive.  Remember the EQ2 control's are based on EQ and not SWG; however, they are completely customizable to what ever you like.

    I liked EQlive controls alot as well.  If the controls are customizable, I will try to get the same controls as in EQlive.

    EQ2's controls are almost identical to EQlives, you can even do the holding the left and right mouse button together to move without the keyboard(thats the one thing i have missed in most other mmo's)

    I too agree, as I played SWG and the controls were very easy to use and found it difficult when I tried to go back to EQlive.
