Will GOA stop you playing this game?

GOA has a very 'suspect' reputation from the days of Dark Age of Camelot.
'Leopards don't change their spots...' is an old adage which has been proven time and time again, and I'm very worried that this tag stills applies to this company. OB is extremely close and GOA are yet again stunning in their lack of information to EU players. Account/beta code details are still not available, and it seems they are trying to gain a monopoly on the trademark term 'soon'.
Jeff Hickman administered a 'vote of confidence' to GOA not so long ago, and in football terms in England, this is usually a precursor to the sack.
I have two questions to ask:
1. If GOA continue in a similar vein to DAoC, will you consider your subscription, even if the game exceeds expectation?
2. Why is Mythic even entertaining GOA given their past history and recent ineptitude?

Ok, here is a very good link to MBJ's feelings regarding the Mythic/GOA relationship, and his obvious surprise our AC isn't up yet.
This is followed by what appears to be the definitive answer to our concerns. If this goes wrong, GOA better have the fire extinguishers at the ready..

Hmm, I did look into this, but was informed I couldn't buy because of regional issues..

If GOA continues updating their website the way they do, I seriously doubt wether they get it ready for Early Access launch at all. I hope their servers are in better condition, why didn't they just push the European release back a few weeks when they still had a chance since it looks like they aren't prepared to handle it.

Maybe they are still moving their stuff to Ireland? The French aren't renowned for doing anything in a rush...

Mythic should just setup their own organisation in Europe and drop GOA.
they certainly seem to be doing their best to stop us playing.
I still have bad memories about how GOA handled Daoc... I really hope they have learned something and update their servers with patches same time as the U.S servers do and not month or two after.

Preordered US version (as I did with DAoC).
As the EU account center isn't up yet they are doing a good job of trying to sto pus plkaying.
Even if the account center was to launch now they have 48 hours or so to get 100,000+ accounts created, can we say melted servers.
Apparently they are already seeing more traffic than the keys they have given out.
Imo. If it isn't up by sunday, have a whinge then. But it's only a open beta. It's not like the 2nd coming of christ ffs.
This will be my first dealing with GoOA, and althougth i read about their past mistakes, i am willing to see if they have learned and improved, however i am nevoius, the GOA web Site is crap compared with EA-Mythics website. I will be judging them on.
1. Setting up an account goes relative straight forward with no issues
2 That Open Beta is relatively stable, i'm not expecting no crashes, afterall its huge stress test on GOA severs before game goes live
3. That during first few months that sever crash are very few and if they do happen that we get quickly and reliable information about them.
Then my sub will be based on War gameplay
I still remember when WoW was released and the many mistakes bliazzard made on their european severs, and hope GOA seen how blizzard over four years has learn to deal them, and improve its sevice.
Thats upto Mythic, not GOA...
GOA are only dealing with Euro subs and servers, the game is stillupto Mythic, although GOA will have to add patches too, so hopefully they will be snappy with patch updates after Mythic give them to GOA
Worst part beside missing ALL the extra goodies US players got, we are 48h before the start of open beta without an account center. Actually, at this point - friday 3pm here - if the codes in my CE box prouve have a problem - like around 30%of the CE NA codes had with the errors regarding 0,o - till monday i can do nothing as noone work and if i get trough my mail / phone monday i can expect 48h more to have the key replaced... so, kiss bye bye the open beta... and i'm 100% sure this will happening all across EU as i doubt our code lots are in better shape then the US ones who tooked them from april to july to fix / replace.
GOA is a crap company with a crap service at least so far for me at the first time i have to deal with them. I do regret no trying to get an US version of the game now.

No it isn't. But it's a bad sign of things to come.

Yes the irish are hard working, but the difference between the Irish and the Swedish, is that the Irish know how to have fun whereas the swedish are boring. I should know i have been to sweden.
I feel for my WAR mates across the pond but in all honesty I can't think of a company I actually liked when it came to open betas or dealing with subscriptions. Though that did not keep me from playing the game I wanted to play.No worries though, even if you do not have access to open beta the official release is not too far away.
does someone want to explain what goa is (aside from a small indian state) and why all the EU players hate it?
i assume it has something to do with subsciptions and Europe but aside from that i am clueless on the issue...
MMO wish list:
-Changeable worlds
-Solid non level based game
-Sharks with lasers attached to their heads
