Subscribe to fileplanet?

Am I really gonna have to pay to subscribe to fileplanet just to play the beta for this game when it comes out sunday? The page I was reading said that and it also said that subscribing doesnt guarantee access to the beta and there are no refunds. This sounds like I could easily get screwed over by these guys. Do you guys think that is what is gonna happen or are they just trying to cover their ass?

If you do it like RIGHT NOW you can get a free key from the nice folks 'ere at MMORPG.com. Then you can enter that code into the pre-order section of the signup process - you DON'T have to subscribe to Fileplanet if you do this. You'll be taken right to step 3, which is the download. You do need to create a free Fileplanet account, but you don't have to subscribe to be able to download it.
You do have to wait in a huge, huge line though.
If you don't already have an OB key you'll have to sub to fileplanet to get one (other than preorder) they still have the beta access button still up so they still have keys. All you do is pay for a sub then get the key. Just depends on if you want to pay just to get the key.
hrmm thanks for that suggestion but I already made all the accounts and have downloaded the game. I guess Im just waiting till sunday when ill be able to patch and get into the game. It sounds like your saying that youd need to subscribe to get the dl but i already downloaded and wasnt forced to subscribe to do that, although i did wait about 2 hours in public que to finally be able to dl, so mebe i dont have to worry about subscribing.
ok cochran sounds like your saying its one or the other. I preorded from gamestop so i guess i wont have to worry about fileplanet reaching into my pocket also.
Not saying you have to sub to get the DL, just to get a key from FP.
