Think one of my Video Cards is broken

yeah well instead of hijacking another thread i figured i'd just ask here.

I got 2 9600gt's in SLI, i can plug my monitor into one fine and get the desktop screen in regular resolution and etc .... but when i plug it into my other card the resolution goes down to what you would see if you plugged it into a card with no driver installed. Is this normal ?

     Theres no dual monitor support for SLI.  IE. you'll only be able to use one of the video boards

    Correct, your cards are working fine together in SLI but the dual monitor support is not available. Check out a product that you plug into that adds 2 monitor functionality. But since your not using 2 monitors there shouldn't be a problem. If you really wanted to test out the second card with a little thinking you could just pull the first card out and place the second one in the first slot and do the same thing you just did. The end result will be the same. But you will know the cards still working.
