From what I know, there is nothing official for starting time. Mythic said they wanted employees to have a good night sleep, and fileplanet guessed 7 am. So my guess (and it is only a guess) would be that we will be able to play around 9 am EST...
im usually like that for any game release. unfortunately i cant get as excited for open beta, although when its the 14th and its officially "head start" time, then i will be super excited. i mean i havent played WAR yet so it will be fun to try for the first time but i will be happy when i know the stuff im working on wont be getting wiped, you know? all in all i am a 10 year old for WAR though. i have a feeling its going to crush the MMO market with its "all fun, no work" game ethic...

I work at night, something about programming during the day has always bugged me heh.
Nah, I'm not waiting. In fact, I just got done for the day! 6 hours straight of unbelievable fun! I'm trying out the Ironbreaker and having a BLAST! Met a load of friends, formed an amazing group, took over an ENTIRE zone on our own, and took on countless scenarios with some trouble at first and then gaining momentum and winning many times in a row!!
Now, tomorrow, I have to study all day. BLARGH!!!

Not to sound like a "Negative Nancy", but I wouldn't get too excited. I played it today and the sound for the game is so bad it makes the game unplayable for me. I'm sooooo disappointed with WAR.
When you run, listen for the Choo Choo Train. Can you hear it? Hear it comes, "Chugga, Chugga, Chugga, Chugga, Choo Choo"!
Honestly, who greenlighted the sound in this game? I've heard better sound from games that were made 10 years ago.

Im excited, but I'll be downloading patches while I go to church and then when I get home its time to play for the rest of the day. I still might not get any sleep, last night I had a dream about playing the game and I havent even played it yet...... Yeah thats pretty bad.lol
