I got on the 400min wait line only to come back about 2 hours later and find out it started all over because I wasnt here to press play or whatever haha...just my luck

Only if you wait till the day (heck, hours) before the release of a very popular OB game to download the software. LoL
Yea my browser bugged when it was my turn. Just download the installer program. When your turn in line comes up, it will auto dl it for you. I had 3 hours of waiting in line when i went to sleep last night and woke up to it downloading already. Still have 24 hours left on the download....but thats besides the point

Something tells me this open beta BS is just a big scam. Wait online a few hours but wait u dont have to !! just pay a few bucks and DL it now!...Bet EA is getting a pretty penny out of this deal to
LOL. Pay the freaking $3 or $4 a month, and NEVER have an issue...and get in on a ton of betas, and fast and easy patching of any game you own.
OR...be a mooch and bitch about not having "pay for" quality of service.

or better yet, download it after 10hrs go to open the zip and get a box that pops up and says the file is corrupt and can't be opened..yup that's what happened to me. lol. I just deleted the entire program and told myself it's a sign not to bother, if it's any good I'll try their free trial in a few months after the bugs are all worked out which you know it's going to have like any other mmo that's realeased this way.

My god do i fear a corrupt file after dealing with this download...
I waited 6hrs on friday and downloaded overnight, this afternoon it failed and i had to wait 8 hours to resume. Im watching it like a hawk now, i pause it everytime the dl speed starts to drop towards 0.
I think in total this is going it have ended up taking around 30hours to get the file.
Should have just stuck with the slow torrent.
Damn guys, that sucks. Makes me glad i just decided to wait for retail. : )

It took eight hours the first time I did it, then the files were corrupted and I had to do it again today. It's been seven hours so far today, and I'm still waiting.
Got my key last night...installed their download tool early this morning and was downloading by noon, finished at about 5. No problems, no subscription. *shrug* See yas in game tomorrow! ( ' :
Now if these companies weren't so damned stupid and went with a proper file hosting site. FileFront provides just as much bandwidth for free. They offer instant WoW patches which millions download at once.

This is apparently the official EA Mythic - Warhammer Age Of Reckoning beta client torrent link for those who don't want to wait a year and a half for fileplanet q's.
I don't know if this will help at all, but I saw a couple of people mention that their zip file was corrupted. I got the same error when I tried to unpack my download using whatever unzip program came with windows. I downloaded Winrar off download.com and it unzipped the file just fine. It might be worth a try if anyone had that issue and still has the old zip file lying around.

Ya theres no doubt in my mind that FilePlanet designed the servers to be highly limited. So they can sell more Subs...which is why file planet will never see a dime from my pockets
