I was wondering if anybody got in the WoW europe beta i just came home from a long night and took a shot at my email and i got in ! I finally get into a beta

Well thanks peeps if you guys got any questions with whats happening right now that you cant get off the forums ask me and ill be glad too help. As of right now i have a lvl 7 orc shammy on the PvP server, not very many ppl are online as of now due to the fact that ppl are still downloading the beta client. And yes i did just sign up for the EU beta and the funny thing is that i live in the states . Doesnt matter to me cuz of alot of EU players are playing the US beta.
Congrats Drag. I'm glad someone from USA got into the EU test. Show those peeps who's boss. Anyways, did you mask your IP? Just wondering.

What's not to understand?
If you like DAOC and are looking for a newer version of it - you'll like WoW.
If you hate DAOC or want something innovative - you'll probably hate WoW.
If you just play MMORPGs to look for some online cyber love - you'll probably like WoW or any mmorpg that has lots of players.
Well about masking my IP i didnt do anything but put my real name and address and where i lived and i still got in . Well being on the PvP server funny thing is that i havent fought any alliance yet . Me being a orc im in durator where really no humans would waste their time to go to. So as of right now nothing really going on an no towns are being raided/attacked. Ya know at times this game can get frustrating but man once you get on a roll with quest/talents you stand back and see how actually "fun" this game is . I hit lvl 10 tonight and im now allowed to use my talents i mean i only have 1 point but it really allows you too customize your charecter how you want too. But as of the PvP im going to the barrens soon and from what i know alliance love too gank around there . But alot of ppl are actually lowbies but ive already seen a lvl 25 mage! Alrighty guys time to go too sleep i got 5 hours till work .
And no there is no Pk'n but there is dueling on the horde/alliance side soooo no worry about Pk'rs. And no bots from what i have seen classes are very versatile bots shouldnt be needed at all . And i scale the game as a beta compared to alot of these retail games i give it a 8 . Once BG is in and i like it .. im going with a 10 .

I can understand how this game might not be for you, but there are tons of people here that would love to test it and give some feedback in hopes of making it better.... Since you really dont seem to like the game why not pass your beta this way?

Drago: Could you post a thread on the forum asking if it's possible to order a game from the states when you are in europe and then play on the european beta servers if they are still there? That is of course if the game is released in the states when the beta is still going on over here....

One thing that bugs me, I know my company's firewall is blocking certain emails, and I know the beta acceptance email is one of them. (had a friend email his, and it didnt make it through)

Hey Drago,
Lots of the US guys get very worked up about Europeans being in the US closed Beta. I'm based in the UK and been in the US Beta since Phase 3, so in my book the more poeple who can help test this great game the better! Enjoy!

And I've seen some mention of the PvP server here... The PvP server isn't truly a pvp server because you are still restricted to what races you can pvp against, which is not what pvp is all about. I'm not suggesting it be like DAOC's insane chaos/free-for-all Server (it needs safe zones/rules like UO), but it's still hardly a PvP server when you can't fight anyone you want.
The graphics and engine of WoW are top notch, though. I'll give them that. However, graphics doesn't automatically make a game good for me... I need a little substance with my hype.

I think the PvP (FvF) servers will be great, there are no logic that you should be able to attack your own side in a MMORPG(if it hasn't a mad punishment to do so), with faction vs faction you get a reason to group up with other on your side and get trust in people and you get a real enemy instead of just thinking that everyone you see is your enemy. You can build a much better community and the ingame politic can be alot more interesting.

If you like FvF, then fine... but that's what they should be called: FvF servers and not PvP. It's misleading to a lot of people.
And in my opinion, FvF is not RP... how can you RP when you can't really talk to the other Faction? Politcics and diplomacy can only happen when you're free to attack (or not attack) people in your own realm/faction/race based on in-game politics. Plus, you can never really win and end the FvF conflict, which is totally boring and non-immersive.
