Ok before going off on me, I looked through some of the posts to see if i could get my question answered, and i read everything on the main playonline site about it TWICE and still havent found the answer to my question... anyhow i wanted to know if lets say im level 15.. and my friend is 74 and we use the level sync and now hes 15 if we kill mobs my level will he gain exp as well i mean i know i will gain exp but will the 74 itself gain any? like over all hes at 0xp into 74 and need's "blank" to get to 75 when we kill a low level mob at our level for exp will he get some as well for his 74? or am i the only one to get any exp for the kill.
the question here is, is level sync just for higher levels to help lower levels basically? i hope i phrased all that right.. it just all seems confusing.

As far as I can tell, yes, your friend should be able to gain EXP at the same rate you do.

yeah, i think he will get xp as well
Not a flame but from the official announcement you read twice:
"When Level Sync is in effect, players will gain 100% of the experience and limit points possible to gain at their reduced level."

hmm does that mean they gain xp for the level u are? or for ther overall max level on there current class?
It would be "reduced level" which should be the level that others are and not the overall max level.
I'll try to explain in simpler terms. If your friend is a level 72. He comes to the dunes to party with you and you're level 15. He does the level cap to become level 15. He would gain exp from the stuff you kill as if he was a level 15. meaning, if you get 200 exp, he gets 200exp. But it's not 200exp towards level 16 but towards 73. When you level up to 16, they will automatically go up to level 16 too. So they will earn the exact exp you do (minus bonuses from signet, exp ring and etc) Only it will apply to them getting to 73, you to 16.

tyvm, thats exactly the anser i was looking for i appreciate the help with it im a tad slow when it comes to this kind of stuff probably why i havent made it far in this game yet.. but i appreciate the explanation for it see i have a 22 thats my highest and my wife's got a 15ish and i wanted to level with her and she was far to low and my other classes were still level 1.. and there isnt much i can do about that so i wanted to see if i would still be getting any towards my 22 or if i deleveled if basically i was getting jack squat lol. But thanks again sorry its so hard to explain to me haha.
Its awesome for areas like Qufim where you are only there from levels 19-25. You don't have to actually leave the party as soon as you are level 25 now, you can just level sync down to whatever the lowest level person is in the party.
The MAJOR added bonus is, if you absolutely HATE leveling in a given location, find a level sync party at a lower level place, you can get the xp to totally skip leveling there. If you don't have kazam access, no problem, you can use level sync and level til your heart's content in the dunes if you want to.
Its nice, now you don't have 1 person messing up the xp for the whole party, just have them level sync down and xp problem fixed.
Something else of note, lets say the level 72 person is level sync'd down to level 15 and dies, he/she loses the same xp as a level 15 player. This is how the game already worked for level cap areas
The only thing I have noticed, is they need to make either more camping spots or faster mog respawn rates at lower level camps now
After hearing about this i have really considered comming back to the game. I had left due to the fact i was stuck at 25 with no help getting my Kazham Key (even though that has nothing to do with the Level Sync). But now it looks like i will be able to level with no problems. So i am really considering comming back this is the only MMO that is worth playing these days.
This is what i was afraid would happen with Level Sync. You still need to go get your Kazham Airship Pass. There's more to do there than just leveling. Zilart Missions for one, unlocking jobs, quests, etc. Please don't let Level Sync be a reason to be lazy and take shortcuts.
