Signed up for beta, then nothing

Morning all.
I just signed up for the beta, installed the installer and then got nothing. I've got no downloads going on, nothing being installed, nothing happening at all. I run the installer, and it shows no action.
Is this broken, or am I just jumping the 8.30am gun?

This monring (over 6 hours ago) I heard the que was about 10 hours long to "begin" downloading. LoL

Glad I bought it d2d and have it installed already.
Yeah that sucks. I had a paid account and didn't have to wait but then I just pre ordered anyways cuz the more videos I see the more I like this game. I have faith in Mythic so no worries here.
There is no que for download. the download program it self is just not working correctly.
3 days ago I tried to download. program crash.. program not wonloading.. program downloading 2kb and stops..
Next day at work I Downloaded the downloader and started it. two hours later I have a 8.8gb download on my machine ready for trasport home

Lol? i downloaden the client from www.war-europe.com and it is 8.4 GB isn't that the open beta client?

It took over eight hours for me to download it, then I went to open it and I got an error message saying it was corrupted. So now I'm doing it again today, probably take ten hours today.
This worked for me: I had same error trying to use WinRAR to unzip the file... then I tried Winzip (free version) and it unzipped fine.... Give that a try, hope it works for you like it did for me.
Thanks for all the replies guys. Turns out that the app I downloaded from the beta signup wasn't the client at all, just a download manager that doesn't seem to do anything.
DL'ing the client now, and feeling dumb as a stump. Ah well.
