0.0% chance for Darkfall
Darkfall is an mmo which has been under development for what?, seven years now?. Once in a while the team send out a film clip, teaser or something, trying to get websits and forums to write about that game, and they often have a success with that. (In other words to create hyper).
However I don't believe in Darkfall at all. There is a 50% chance that it is vaporware anyway, and will never be released. And the other 50% are covered by the case that the game is released, and flops horribly.
Darkfall is currently advertised as having totally unlimited PvP, including the ability to completely loot all the gear of the player you just killed. That sounded like a good idea in 2001, but in 2008 a game like that simply make it. So instead waitning for something like Darkfall to happent, I suggest trying a other mmo. I just think its a complete waste of time.
To be honest I would rather play Diablo.

You never know, there might be a large group that wants this. I am more of a carebear myself, but if there are to be pvp then full looting it should be! Makes the game more "real" and hopefully will force the community to band together.
However, I also think that there should always be harsh penalites for being an asshat and murderer, just as in the real world. So if they have pvp with full looting and you keep killing people of non-enemy faction then you should be penalized in some way (unable to enter cities etc.)
Its still very early to really talk about this game, given that its not even in beta yet. Mind you, there's actually quite alot of players here that like that pvp full loot thing. And if they can truly deliver what they promose about the gameplay, esp intresting to me is the mob behaviour, than they will surely bring this gene up another notch.
Saying so , i also believe that this will be a niche game, unless they bring in a pve server, which i think there's no harm trying, just to bring in more crowds.....

@ Blatant troll: Full loot is not something that will scare away people in 21th century! You have to think outside your peer group of spoonfed carebears.
Noone is wasting any time on games that is not even out yet. However you waste a lot of time IMHO playing the shit that´s currently out there.
Children should indeed go play gear centered games like Diablo.
mmmhh i've tryed someothers mmorpg for some years, but they don't cathc my attentions..only lineage II, although it wasn't so nice (because after 2 years i see always the same things)...Ultima Online catches my attentions but it's old and i don't like graphic...in darkfall i see a better UO, so i hope in its release..

Saying that it won't work in 2008 is simply wrong, think about it, you probably play a game similar to WoW, have you even tried getting answers from the majority of these people? No.. Obviously because it's not possible and you shouldn't be trashing this game like this, I'm not saying that Darkfall will work, but i'm trying to give you the message that saying shit like this with no proof doesn't make sense and is just plain stupid.
