How much will the game cost? Monthly subs?

in Darkfall

I have kind off stayed clear of Darkfall for a while.  It promises everything that I truly want in an MMORPG, and I was unusre as to whether to believe the hype or not.  Now that a new gameplay video has been released, I am hoping more than ever that it is true.  Not because the video was that good, as it wasn't, but it was just good to know that there was actually something.

I've been looking everywhere for the costs of this game, and I could not find any information anywhere.  Does anyone know how much this game will cost?  And how much the monthly fees will be? 

I am really hoping this game does what it says it will, as it will be great, and hopefully show other devs that a restrictionless game can be a success.  I love the idea that there isn't an endless stream of spawned mobs.  Anyway, if someone knows how much it will cost then I will be grateful, unless it is going to be free2play?  Actually, not sure if free2play would be such a good thing.

    There is no official word on the monthy price of the game.

    Its commonly assumed that the price will be similar to that of other MMOs at the moment.. 10-15 dollars. Why would it be anything different?

    It definitely won't be free2play.

    Beyond that we dont know anything for sure.  There is also the factor of having the euro and the dollar being so different, and depending on decisions with publishing, it can go either way.

    Actually there IS official word on pricing and distribution. 10-15 a month, comparable to other MMOs, fairly certain its in the FAQ.

    Are you sure?  I went on the official site and could not see that information anywhere.  Also, do you know if the actual game will be a free download, or will I be able to go into my local game store and buy it?

    has been suggested 10-15 / month and given that its supposed to be in stores i doubt it will be free to start. also they are interested in online distribution but havent confirmed that part.

    Most likely, like most MMOs $50 for the game and the monthly cost of $10-15.

     

    As of right now nothing is official and theres nothing been said of alternative payments like game cards etc.

    i have a feeling th game will be free to download then have a montly sub,

    dont think they have enough money to distribute and sell the game DVD in NA and EU.

    thats if they release...:)

    I'm hoping it's $50 for the game and $20 a month.

    The Aventurine Dev's have said that anyone will be able to try Darkfall for free.

    with a monthly subscription comparable to other mmo's.

    PS: My Bull Shitting skills are not very good so sorry for that.
