Authentication Failure - Please help

I have sucessfully entered my code from my CE preorder.
I dowlaoded the client from file planet.
when i start the exe file I get a mythic patcher login screen.
I type in my name and passowrd and it says:
Authenitcation failure please reenter your login credentials
Is this what should be happening or should it accept my info?

I have the same problem. Might have to wait till midnight tonight to log in. Not sure what time zone though.

Im pretty sure they explain that the file you get is locked untill openbeta.
I have read here people can get into the game even though they cant acess the server.
I just want to make sure im all ready to go for tomorrow.
Any advie would be appreciated.
same here i think what we all do is have to wait till tomorrow or midnight to attempt to get on again like the OP said.
Only people who were part of preview weekend are able to login atm. The rest of us are locked out until, if fileplanet's countdown is believed, 7am EST.
Who knows if we can patch earlier or not. As a side note, the logon window has already been patched for me since trying this morning when I woke up. However, I get the same error as you, as anyone waiting for the "Open Beta" and not the "Preview Weekend Plus" is getting.
If I were to guess, I would say they wanted to get as many of the previewers back in the game to show that they had fixed some of the issues from the last time. They had supposedly broken pathing right before the weekend started, but from what I've read it's been fixed. Lastly, if any of the PW people have not pre-ordered it yet, it's a great way to sucker them into it for that last push for cash before launch.
mine says authentication failed, please reenter your login credentals. Does that mean i have to wait till tomorrow as planned or what, i entered my pass code and says my name is open beta enabled and ready.
So I waited to even try till after 7am this morning, I have to go to work here in 20 mins, so i was just trying to login and download any major patches, I did receive a patch as my login screen is now different, but it's 7:28 eastern and i still get the same message as you guys, Authentication failed. Way to Fail so far mythic. Way to fail.
How is it a fail if the open beta isn't open yet?
Wel when does it open?? I am getting authentication error as well.
