Not all of those settings are in the game yet. Those in beta are essentially playing on what will be medium settings. The final game is 5gb larger than the beta client.

I hope that means it won't be using even more memory. The game already uses 600k, lol. My computer only has 2 gigs but is equipt enough where it can run high resolution on games. I hope we can up the graphics, that would be nice. 5gb more though, I'm guessing it's because the extra content and stuff added in to make your character to not only 20, but now 40? I assume.....big game.

Where did you come up with this number at?  I browse the beta forums almost all day and have not heard anything about a client being nearly double the size.

600k in memory what OS you are using? I am using 1.2g of memory to run the game right now on Vista (yes it came with the pc, downgrading is not an option)

I am not downloading another 5g.  I will delete this client and install with a retail disk.

The minimum system requirements are 15gb+.  The open beta client is around 9.7gb currently. My elder beta client is over 12gb.

The settings that are currently there can be changed. But not all the settings that will be there at retail are there now. At least that is my understanding.

Nor are all the textures and animations in the game yet.

The beta client buildup is a known issue.  There is nothing built into the patcher where it rewrites the files, it just adds more to it.  The last time I moved my elder client it was 24gb from patches off the old clients.

I've been in beta since april and my client is still 12gb. Hasen't really increased in size. Whatever the case mythic said not all the graphics are in game yet and the final client does require 15gb.
