Well, i just Pre-ordered EQ2 and got this neat CD as a bonus.

Includes:

* The full games unparalleled charater creation tool - create & save your charater before launch!

So far its cool. The creation is VERY anoying as its making me wish I could play the blasted game NOW! lol
On the down note the creation only lets me create the "looks" of my characer and not the skills/classes availabul. Ah well.

The videos are very impressive altho you can get them all already from fileplanet.

Not really a very impressive CD but still fun to mess around with the creation.

Anyone else get it with there Pre-order?

    So were you able to make a character?  Like reserve the name and everything?

    dont belive you can reserve a name, just create the looks of the character

    I'm going to preorder this for the JBoots alone. Forget everything else. I've always wanted a pair of this in the first Everquest.

    Where do you preorder this at that allows you to get this stuff?

    I'm still deciding on pre-ordering this or not since I don't know if I'll get EQ2 or WoW. Only thing keeping me from picking EQ2 right now is the no pvp. Now, I'm not a major pvp fan but its fun every once in awhile.

    Anyways, yea...if I do pre-order it'll probably be for just the Jboots.

    Sorry m8, you cant reserve your name. Its just creation, so you dont have to spend time on getting your charater ready. But it does give you an advantage. The faster you get in the game the better the chance is getting you name. ::::01::

    Well put my preorder in at EB. I hope there aren't any problems with the bonus items when the game launches.

    Oh...uhm I didn't pre -order...I just downloaded the .iso cause I am a dirty pirate sometimes. Just go to the suprnova.org tracker and you will find it under games remmber you need BitTorrent client and seed till your ratio is at least 1.0! it helps the community.

    I have no idea how to get that part to work. You get a "scan" mode that...well...scans your PC to see how it will preform with EQ2. It has links to Kingston,AlienWare and Nvidia. But when hitting the links I get no indication to a saving on the hardware.

    Can anyone shine some light on this matter?

    ? haven't you guys found the spot on the pre-order CD that uncovers your secret CD key for access to the EQ2beta yet ?! You only have to use the games decoder to access it, just kinda overlap all 3 colour decoders and face toward japan to reveal the secret CD key....

    Beta tested: Ragnrok Online, Wish(1st phase), Lineage II, EverQuest 2.

    Played/Trial: SWG, Lineage II, Asherons Call 2, Endless Ages, priston tale, planet side,

    Playing now: Testing EverQuest2 beta, and waiting to try out WoW. And if im getting bored with that, ill return to Lineage II.

    I didnt get a 3 colored thingy. But I do have a key along with the CD. I thought it just gave me access to the JBoots.

    But when opening the cover a great massive undead zombie jumped out. Luckily i just pointed my wand at it (inclosed in the box) and yelled "ridiculous" and it turned into the goodyear man.

    im sorry that you had to pre-order to get the cd, the chars are very ugly, i tried hard but failed to make a cool looking char besides the rat i made, who just looks "ok"

    Hmmmmmm...............me thinks I would wait until they lift the NDA before I would ever pre-order any MMORPG. That is unless your in the beta and like what you see. Otherwise it's a real crap shoot in a dark alley with guys wearing suits and ties.

    I preordered the Collectors Edition (dvd) a while back and got the cd also

    however, since then I've heard that they redid the character creation stuff

    so we'll just have to go back and redo em, lol
