GOA blame the playerbase (again)

So we are a bunch of iliterate morons now.
Since we launched our new validation system yesterday, players have been flooding onto the beta servers. We've been working on the systems constantly and at the moment more than 70,000 fans are able to play. Some of you however have tried to validate your codes and have received a message saying that they were invalid. If this is the case, please take note of the following points:
The letter 'I' can sometimes look like the number '1'
Likewise on some printed sheets, the letters 'D' and 'O' may be hard to tell apart
A zero will be printed as an 'O' with a line through it.
Please ensure that you are only trying to validate an open beta code, headstart or bonus item codes are not valid at this time, the system will now reject these codes immediately to make it easier for you and to prevent the wrong codes from being submitted.
Previously when you validated your code, there was a delay between the confirmation email and you being able to access the servers, our technicians have worked to remove this delay and now you will be able to patch and play as soon as your confirmation email is received. The last remaining 10,000 players who were waiting for access can now join the action on the servers.
That still doesnt answer where are the thousands of confirmation emails that people are still waiting on 20 hrs later.
the last remaining 10k WTF you imbeciles you mean the 10k you still have stuck in your system not the 1000s who still need to register a account to even begin to progress anywhere.
What a bunch of asshats and wheres Mythic in amongst all this just continueally telling us about how great the U.S beta is going not a peep has been heard from them since Sunday about the EU fiasco

Don't be so hard on them. There's probably a bunch of them sitting in front of spreadsheets and sending those emails out manually since their system fails so hard

think hes just explaining where if some players have gone wrong have. Dont think its fair to say hes blaming anyone, just offering advice.
I may be wrong but I am sure alot of player's have been spamming there codes and finally got through so this whole "I can be a 1",or a "D could be a O" doesnt hold much water if the codes work after hours of trying,Nothing like taking the highroad and blaming other's I guess.
If someone had came up to me in 1980 when I was on my Atari 2600 and said we will be playing games with thousands of people at the same time.I guess my response would have been,"but I only have 2 joysticks"

my code has absolutely NONE of those suggested misreadables. so where the hell is my email. how on earth can they think this pos system will be fixed by less than a weeks time? Are they on crack?
Oh well, apparently spamming helps so ive made a macro to run and put my code in a few hundred times...
Playing polished, lag free, feature complete games is carebear. Whining about a game you hate but still play is hardcore man!
I agree I do not see where he is blaming and being condescending to anyone. He is just providing possible reasons as to why some may not be getting in, and how to overcome them. My god folks, its just a game.

My beta code was emailed to me from D2D, and I copied and pasted it into the page - so no mistyping from me.

I've had NO email, NADA, NULL, ZERO, NOTHING - and there's none stuck in my spam filter either.

eff them, I have had my confimation email and patched to 100% and it wont let me play, hit the play button window closes and nothing happens, who ya gonna call well I dont effin know coz they're all prats with no support.
The post was not about emails not getting through, it was about emails that got through but failed to be verified for some reason. He was just offering advice on the probable reasons that could be caused client side.
What a pile of dog crap, I was on the ball and was one of the first to validta my key as I was refeshing the site when it popped up on how to validate and yet still nearly 24 hours later I am waiting for a bloody email...
GOA are just full of oiuahfuwhg .. where is my bloody email I have been waiting for.. 70,000 players are now playing OB.. then they must be looking at different forums as everyone I have read says for some reason why Eu players cant get on
Apparently they are saying that nearly 90% of players that have beta are able to play. Is this the case?

they need to let the player base know that they have conscripted help with manual database key entry for those remaining players
definately not go on any MMO or gaming site and you will find post after post like this.
GOA gave away 70k free keys alone so unless closed beta testers, preorders, CE preorders, competitions and any other means of getting a key accounted for less than 10k then there is absolutely no way there figures are correct.
I think what they mean is we have no idea what the hell we are talking about and heres some more crap spewing from our mouths just to try and slightly appease the playerbase.
I don't think there's anything wrong in reminding people that I may look like 1.
But what kind of idiot decided to write that

They are now completely ingnoring players who have been waiting since Sunday to be able to register (or in my case, complete the registration). They aren't now admitting that they still have god knows how many players who can't even hope to access the servers and haven't been given any kind of ETA of when and if they may hope to access those servers at all during Open Beta.
The only thing more frustrating that having problems is that we're now not only having problems but also we're again getting ignored by them.

Yea they have some nerve saying maybe we input the key wrong, I can bet nealy all if not all copied pasted the numbers as i DID, yet still waiting near 24 hours later... uihhighg GOA scu*
I would be interested to know is anyone or does anyone know of a friend who WASN'T a member of closed beta, who is actually now able to get into beta. Just 1 person?

This is one of many reasons why i played US DAOC and not EU . GOA suxs..

i didn't play CB
registered my code yesterday around 4:30pm CET. Left it be, woke up this morning and bam: e-mail in inbox, logged in and playing. Don't see the issue tbh. If people stopped flooding there system once they know their code has been registered (i.e, you don't get any error 414's etc) there wouldn't be such a long wait.
it's typical. a bunch of impatient kids moaning because they can't play and so blame the people who run it. if anyone actually knew the scale required to launch the game in over 5 differnet languages to over 10 countries you'd be a little more patient.
