I just read this on another site and almost fell out of my chair laughing
A few days ago, I was talking to this little girl named Sarah. She is the daughter of a VERY liberal married couple that I know. Anyhow, Sarah expressed her desire to be President of the United States someday. Both of her parents were standing there with me when I decided to ask, "If you become President, what is the first thing you will do?" Sarah replied, "I would give houses to all the homeless people" Her parents beamed! It seemed that this little girl would be a great addition to the Democrat Party.
"Wow! What a worthy goal you have there, Sarah," I told her. "But, you know, why wait until you're President? You should start working toward your dream right now!"
A confused/worried look began to form on her parent's faces.
"Now Sarah, as you know, I have 3 dogs. I would like for you to stop by my house later on, and clean up all the doggie poop in my backyard. For all of your hard work, I will pay you $5. Then, we can drive over to the grocery store where that nice homeless man hangs out, and you can give him your five dollars to help him buy a new home! Wouldn't that be great?"
Sarah (who is about 5 years old) thought it over for a second, while her mom seethingly glared at me. Sarah eventually replied, "Why doesn't the homeless man come over and clean up the dog poop and THEN you can just pay HIM the 5 dollars?"
"Ahh...smart girl," I said. "Welcome to the Republican Party."

Holy shit (no pun intended), that is funny!
Saw this before, pretty funny.
hehe nice post
Whats really sad is thats almost how it was for me ;p
If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude; greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.
Samuel Adams
The Democratic party is a lot different now then what it used to be. My great grandpa belonged to a group of Democratic Hawks. Basically they believed everyone was pansies and you had to be the guy who would shovel crap to fix things for other people. Otherwise nothing got done because humans are lazy, selfish and arrogant.
In the end, if they get to soft, shoot them. Quick, efficent mob justice. Can you guess how many lynchings he saw hahaha. Mind you there werent any homeless, jobless or uneducated people. Then again who would dare be if youd end up dead lol
lol, that was great.
Here's a story I also tell a lot of college aged liberals.
"Now you are completely for higher taxes to pay for social services such as Welfare, medicaid, food stamps, etc right?"
"Oh yes, It is our jobs as human beings to care for those who cannot care for themselves." They replied.
"Ok. That is nice." I responded. "To give your tax money to help the needy is a nice gesture."
"You bet it is!" They replied,
"well...I know at least four of you all are straight A students right?"
"Yup!" Most of the girls are brimming with excitment and pride as they pull out their college grades and the various high GPA related clubs they are in.
"Ok...now here's the thing. I have a friend over here who hasn't been able to go to classes because he has a drinking problem. Poor guy just sleeps in a lot."
"Ok" they said
"Now, if it was possible would you alter your straight As and make them Straight "B"s so that my friend over here will get a chance to graduate college and make a name for himself in the community?"
"Hell no. He shouldnt be a drunk anways. I bust my ass getting these straight "As" and i am sure as hell not going to sacrifice my GPA for a guy who has beer binges with his frat buddies on the weekend."
"I see. So it's ok if I give my money to people who abuse the welfare system, the medicaid system and the foodstamp system because they are hard pressed but you wont give a portion of your "A"s to help out a guy who drinks too much to pass. Im not asking to give him grades to make him high on the GPA....just enought to graduate last in the class."
"We work hard for our "As". Im not going to do that to help a drunk. Sorry."
This is a true story btw. I always have fun with this one.
People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.
Cute story. Now let me tell you one.
Mine is about two monkeys that sit in a tree, jumping up and down, screeching and flinging poo at each other. One monkey is a Democrat, and one monkey is a Republican, and the tree is a Congress. They both believe in free houses for everyone.
They agreed to de-regulate financial institutions, after all, everyone wants a smaller and less intrusive government looking at them, especially when they are making mortgages to non-qualified buyers to provide free homes to everyone. And collecting favors from lobbyists.
Financial institutions thought this a great idea, after all, earnings would increase, and there was no risk, as they could sell these loans to federally backed Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac. The people got their free homes, the executives of the mortgage industry got their bonus, the stockholders saw their holdings increase in value, and the economy hummed along as the free houses were built. Good times were had by all.
This at a time when a Republican President and a Republican controlled Congress couldn't say no to a spending package/tax decrease, rationalizing that it would all work out by the time that President's term was up.
Except it didn't. Then the big, less intrusive, free market government had to step in and put the taxpayer's at risk for Fanny Mae, and Freddie Mac, doubling the size of the budget deficit. This doesn't count, of course, the increased costs of failed federally insured banks, and savings and loans, nor the cost of replacing the money "borrowed out" of Social Security at a time the baby boom generation is starting to draw benefits.
They all believed in free houses for everyone. Except for US Comptroller General David Walker, who saw the writing on the wall, and tried to convert the heathen. They silenced him, he wasn't a "team player".
Of course, we can rest easy, because they have a plan. You hear their plan, isn't it talked about in the election rhetoric every night on the TV? Mentioned somewhere in there with the ideas of change, the war, guns, babies, and bibles, and hockey moms, pit bulls, and lipstick? I mean, both sides do have a plan, don't they? Or are they conveniently forgetting to mention the economy, so the voters will forget who is really culpable here?
Or are they still in the tree, jumping up and down, screeching and hollering, and flinging poo at each other. Without any real ideas for change.
That's what happens when you live in a country full of sheep. Ron Paul was the man to get us out of this financial mess. Most people don't know who he is or what he stands for. These are the same people that let Fox news make their vote for em'.
