I remember reading from somewhere that Aion will not have any "official" RP designated server.
Which is a major dissappointment, since it'll only piss off both RPers and non RPers. Imagine the two type trying to communicate.
I suppose the "non-official" RP server would pop out along the time line but...sigh...til then, Legions will have to do.
What I wanted to ask though..is...do you guys think it would be possible to round up all RPers and make us all roll in one server?
If this was discussed, I am sorry. I didn't find any at the first couple pages of the forum....and I am just amusing myself....look what boredom does...

Most RPers will most likely flock to a specific server eventually. It's usually the natural course of things. The players tend to take the initiative.
i think i seen the same topic or atleast a similar one where one of the community guys said:
IF there is enough interest (and its worth the money) one could be put up, it just wont be put up at launch

I think the discussion was about PvP servers and PvE servers, the one you're all talking about, where a rep from the game said that they weren't planning to launch PvE servers (specially since in a RvR game it doesn't sound like possible, you'd take 60% of the content away).
RP servers...no idea yet, I don't think there will unless many people ask for it, but Im guessing they want all the servers to go from the same basis.
I've seen couple asking about RP leagions...so that means we aren't non-existent at least....
And no, why would anyone want PvE on RvR?
Last time I asked them, at the Games Convention in Leipzig, there is no final decision on this matter yet. Considering all focus on story and character progression in Aion, I would say that there's definitely a chance for roleplaying servers showing up. We'll just have to wait and see.

Then I hope with both my fingers crossed. I do NOT want to go through the hectic nonRPer and RPer clash....
It makes sence for not having PvE servers since the PvP and PvE are strongly connected in Aion. It's like WAR would have a server type where all the RvR zones are empty, it wouldn't do any good to the game. Aion's concept is PvPvE in the Abyss so if you hate PvP and just plan to do PvE, I think it's possible to avoid the Abyss most of the time. But I wouldn't recomend not to try the Abyss at all, even if you are PvE oriented like me I think this might be lots of fun.
As for the RP server, I'm sure they will organise like some before me said. I'm from Belgium and we also try to organise the Dutch community on the same server (since we don't get our own in MMO's like the German and the French do) . When AoC launched, we picked our server and by luck the RP players had picked the same one. I must say that if the game was nearly 1/10 as good as the community (Dutch + RP players) on our server was, I would still be playing AoC.
I don't see a problem nor a dissappointment, it will all be fun if the game delivers as I hope it will.
It's pretty early for anyone to be asserting what the server sets will be. Usually, that kind of information doesn't get firmed up until the last few weeks before release.
