I'm looking for a dedicated, yet relaxed Order guild.

I'm looking for a guild that plays a lot, yet, ceases to stipulate rules for mandatory raiding etc. I just want to have some relaxed fun. However, I do want to play on whatever server is dubbed as the most "hardcore" in terms of pvp.

I'm also looking for a guild that is not afraid to have fun. Although my language is normally clean, I've been known to drop a few "F" bombs during intense situations. If this happens, I don't want some guild rep jumping down my throat. I've been seasoned for 27 years and want to play with grown-ups.

Btw, I'm not looking for a guild that has too many member to count; I'm looking for one that is both personal and can field members on Ventrilo at all times of the day. I want to be able to know everybody.

Why So Serious may have a spot for you.  I do see a couple issues, however.  Firstly, a good 80-90% of our members play during the evenings/weekends only.  We only have a few people that can get on during the day.  Secondly, we may not end up on "The PVP server" for a couple reasons.  Firstly, there are a few larger guilds that we know are full of asshats.  Whatever servers they go to, we won't.  Secondly, We're not interested in rolling on a server with long queue times.  A full server is a good thing....a completely stuffed to the gills server is not.  If you're still interested, here's a bit about us....

We are comprised of people who were fairly hardcore gamers in our day (in WoW I was a GM/HWL/Gladiator as well as GM of a Naxx guild and raid leader for T6), but with real life catching up to us in the form of kids/wives/careers/exwives we've had to ratchet back our playing hours somewhat. We still try to maintain a certain level of skill while playing the game because really now...who likes to lose...but we are certainly much more laid back about it now. No worries that you'll ever hear me yelling "THAT'S A 50 DKP MINUS". Leeroy Jenkins on the other hand.....

As for our guild composition, we currently have around 25 or so active members and are looking to increase to around 50-60 in order to be able to field a full raid group most nights. The current average chronological age is somewhere around 35....important word in that sentence being chronological. We do have a couple couples, and would certainly like to add a few more. The ladies can hold their own, but they wouldn't mind having a few more to join in the rolling of their eyes at us during our testosterone induced smacktalking sessions.

We formed our guild on Chrace, so you may see us running around or doing group scenario runs (really wish you could sign up more than just 1 party to a match). Feel free to say hello to whoever you see....we're a friendly bunch.

Here's a standard guild "commercial" I post in order to give people a bit of an idea who we are:

Inevitable City deserves a better class of asskicking. And we're going to give it to them.

Mercy is the mark of great men...guess we're just good men...well, we're alright. We may not be the first guild to reach level cap, but we will be the last force standing on the battlefield. Our well coordinated relentless assaults will grind down even the most stalwart of defenses, leaving our enemies bloodied, beaten and demoralized. Because, let's be honest. What's more fun than slapping around some emo Choas, wannabe goth Dark Elves and Greenskins.

We are currently looking to expand our roster with mature gamers who are interested in growing our community and just plain having fun, mainly through the stomping, crushing and annihilating of the young Chaos punks who would burn our homes, despoil our lands, mess up our lawns, and just generally be a nuisance.

There is more information about the guild on our forums, but just to answer the most common questions:

    1. Do you have a website/vent?

    Yes and yes.

    2. What classes are you recruiting?

Presently....all. We're more interested in getting good people than class balance at this point. Please remember that healers and tanks are always in demand, though.

    3. What type of guild are you? What are your end game goals?

Anyone playing warhammer that isn't into PVP is in the wrong game. That said, however, I'm still personally interested in seeing all the game has to offer and will lead PVE raids should the interest be there. Might as well see all the content we're paying for in my opinion.

    4. What type of players are you recruiting? Hardcore.....casual?

I've never understood the assumption that hardcore and casual players can't coexist in a well structured guild. Personally, I used to be very hardcore gamer (60 hours a week), however my schedule doesn't permit that on a regular basis anymore. On the other hand, I'm not really happy if I can't at least be competitive with even the most dedicated players, so I still play more than a casual player would (say 20-40 hours a week). This guild will NOT be accepting people solely on the basis of their supposed talent level or playtime.

Good person with limited time >> jerk with alot of time on his hands.

If you have any questions about us, or would like to fill out an application, please feel free to visit WhySoSerious.ownstheinternet.com.

We might be something your interested in. TDK's been around for over a decade now, and have been playing MMORPG's since Ultime Online in 1997.

We are a mix between casual and hardcore.

By that I mean we run our PvP rather organized and effectively, but we dont have forced raid schedules and what not. If your on and in vent your going to have a group and people to play with.

However, we arent a 500 man guild... bout 15 of us are set for launch, and we will grow till we reach about 30 or so active members. I prefer to know most of my guildys by name, and we focus on enjoying the folks we play with not having the best gamer in the world that no one can stand.

Vent is a must... as quite frankly 95% of our communication goes on in vent. If your interested in finding out more head on over to our website (www.thedarkknights.com) and sign up on our forums. If your in beta, you can play with us a few times and see if the fit feels right.
