Really GREAT Experience with EA Customer Service...

Well...

When I get treated badly by Customer Service I let the world know about it. So I guess it's only fair that when I am treated well, I should also make it known.

I have always heard that EA/M went hand in hand with Bad Customer Relations. So when I was having trouble logging into my BETA account last week, I really didn't know what to expect.

I called and got an automated message stating that the regular business hours were from 11:00am to 8:00pm. It was already 8:30pm so I just knew the system would kick me and make me call back during regular business hours. However, much to my surprise, it didn't. In fact my total wait time was only 2 or 3 minutes.

When the CSR took my call, and I told him my problem, he informed me that this was the DAoC service line and that WAR ONLINE didn't have a service center up yet.

At this point, I thought the guy would tell me "Too bad so Sad" and send me packing. But he didn't. He told me that he wouldn't mind giving me hand in fixing my problem.

He was very patient and waited as I dug up all my information. It took me several minutes but it didn't seem to bother him. When I finally got back with all that was needed. He quickly found the problem and had me up and running on the spot.

He stayed on the line to make sure that I was able to log all the way into the game, and asked if there was anything else I needed. The call ended and I was able to enjoy my only night off from work.

SO...

The guy really didn't have to help me but he did. I have to say, at this point I am very happy with EA/M and I hope that all my future experiences are just as pleasent.

    Glad you posted this my friend as I have also received over all the years playing DAoC excellent and par excellence Service from Mythic now EA Customer Service.  They actually have CS reps that understand and play the game, so they "feel" for the caller that is having problems.  Unlike SoE and Blizzard they are so far ahead of the game with CS that to me that is one of the main reasons I will be playing War.  Knowing that if I have a problem, I will get immediate and compassionate attention form the CS base at EA/Mythic.  I have also had great Customer Service from Play Online and NCSoft but EA/Mythic is and will be the best for years to come.

     

    Don't even ask me about Customer Service with SoE or Blizzard, my stories would probably be the same as the rest of you!

    SOE = NIGHTMARE!

     

    SoE are as a whole very poor, but i found there Vanguard help very good, cant say iv had a prob with them for the whole time i played VG, all the other SoE games iv played they were less than helpfull

     

    nice to see a good service though
