hi,
I wanted to know if anyone plays MMOSs on one of the new Plasma TVs, one with the anti-burn in technology, and if so, I would really like to hear your comments on your experience. I just want if I should even consider one of these types of TVs, since I do play MMOs quite often. ty all

I use a sony 27" LCD, you will probably be ok with a plasma, as long as its DVI, but i would recommend a large LCD TV, over a plasma. Plasma's historically have problems with pixel bleeding, that LCD's do not.
I play the 360 on a plasma. Havnt had any issues at all. I wouldnt recommend going afk and leaving a HUD displayed on the screen .. or any static images for that matter. If I have to step out of the room for longer than 10 minutes I turn the TV display off (even with burn in protection).
just paranoid like that. Ive had mine over a year and game like crazy on it, no burn in or anything. I'm going to be hooking one of my PC's up to it in a few weeks for MMO's.

from what i gather, pc gamers prefer the crt montors over the newer lcd/plasma types as they are easier on the mem, ram and vid card causing less lag.

...no.
my bad then, i was under the impresion that cards and the ram work better with the crt monitors as the plasma and lcd ones take longer to read , i will ask my wife about this again, shes the nerd of the family and builds rigs, she may have left out a vital part of info or i heard her wrong.
