dude i had the same s card i junked that baby sooo fast. There are meny 5.1 sound cards out there on my limited budget i was able to get the maddog predator 6 channel. I know md ant the best out there but a 5.1 6 channel s card it was only 40 bucks heck i couldend pass on that and now my s card sounds a mil times better then my reg one though i sill need the sround sound 6 speaker set up but thats only 70 to 400 bepending on what u like. I did set 3 speakers up u now the crappy reg ones u get when u get a compy and man i seen a great inprovenemt i cant wait till i get the sround sound set up.

any how i would junk that baby and get u a nicer s card they seem to be on sale noadays

the problem im having is that i cant find the site to download the latest driver, i had a virus and had to clear my harddrive and i need the driver for my audio to work cos none of my games will work without sound, i aint really got alot of money to be buying s cards, if it helps again its an AC'97 realtek built on thing, i looked on some sites but nothing about downloading or installing more drivers for an audio card.

    Thanks

i c simple u delete it then shut off compy on restart it will say new hardwhere found. U then put in your restore cd in then click on  windows explorer look up audio drives. If u got more then one restore cd 1 -3 look in each cd i think on mine it was in the third cd click it look for the drives for your opertaing sys ie xp 2000 what ever then  tell the device manager to look there u click brouse then drive d or e click it look for audio click then drivers click then u see your sys like xp me 2000 click it shout link in the divice manager to look there and u sould get it working
