Game is turning out from dissapointment to fun.
Like many I dont consider myself a good candidate to beta test.I tend to judge the game rather than test it out.
Although over the number of years I have learnt to check any game out wholely myself before deciding.
The 1st day was a lot dissapointing with the graphics being a let down and all scenarios being pawned by destruction everywhere.
Al the same I was not ready to give up.If we could spend 40+ hours on the damn GOA site to register as well as spend equal time playing the game
So , I rolled in the witch hunter .I liked the palying style and it a good dps toon.
Suprisingly , the graphics started looking much better as I moved out of town .
I decided to RVR could be 1st time in my life as I am a hardcore PVE with no PVP at all.
Never had so much fun playing , was suprised the witch hunter was able to take out tanks ( without heals ) quite fast and good .
Even though it was a random group with no voice or game chat the team performed ok.The tanks were blcoking supported by ranged dps and healers.
Close match which we won 500 463. Lol even came in 3rd in the list on our side.
Wanted to lvl up to get skills so started doing soem PVE quests .Liked the tome very much feels like a walking talking wikipedia which keeps track of every step u take.
Decided to wander around rather than where the quest location was .Accidentely tumbled in Public quest area .Loved the variation and gameplay.Dont know as of know how much repeat value it will hold.
All of a sudden a message pops up go claim your influence rewards , whats that ( not that updated on the game has) .Having learned form AOC that dying is the fastest and easiest way to travel respawned back at the camp.
When to collect the influence reward.WOW I can get UBER green items from influeince points No need to grind PVE quest Absolutely great .LOved the idea have fun and get rewards.
Now I am just level 4 still I hear people saying around level 10 u get access to flightmaster and warcamp and thats were the fun starts.
Although there are bugs
1) Tropies couldnt be seen on character
2) 2 green items I got 1 in PQ and 1 in scenarios vanished without reaching the backpack
I would recomend to try the game out to its maximum the beta offer before deciding its fate .Once you start having fun graphics will be the last thing on your mind.Try all professions and servers till you find something that fits your playstyle ( witch hunter was my 7th character) ,

That's kind of the point. Make games that people like.
People playing are always new.
I have been in MMO only for the last few years and I havent played even EQ nor DOAC nor WOW for that matter
It has been GW , LOTRO , AOC ,TR,
So WAR comes out shining in gameplay .For once I never had the fun like i had in WAR RVR against AOC with its eye candy graphic and boobies.
Trophies can only be shown if you have an item in that slot. Alot of the early trophies are shoulder items for example - without shoulder gear it cannot be shown.
I used to judge games based on names, like when my ex g/f said hey you should play FLyff with me i was like WTF are you turning into a cheerleader or something on me?. But anyways mainly when you try NEW games you have to stay open minded and remind yourself alot that its only a beta and they will sure as hell make it right sooner then later after release.
Next thing you know you'll be saying "I'm addicted". Then we'll be saying "It's intervention time", *cry*. LOL
