It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!
So .... I buy the pre-order, get the beta key, goto fileplanet and get queued for the download, it's a 950ish min wait ..... i goto bed i was number 300 in line (started around number 980)
Just woke up and now i'm number 1586 in line.
If i'm not at my computer to press on "OK" button or something when my wait to download is over, it resets me to the end of the queue instead of starting the download that i had been waiting hours for.???
Please advise,

If you are not using their download software (which is free to download) then you have to be around to click the okay button when you make through the que
i have the "Download Manager" icon on my desktop, the green down arrow icon.
Under options, under the 'general' tab i have ..... "Start pre-order downloads automatically" checked
Is this the software you speak of?

OK, i looked in the folder i set for the DL to goto, and a file is there ..... but my download manager has me back in line to download it, says i have 1 active file, and no files complete.
I read on fileplanet's FAQ, and it stated that i can run the file from the download manager by clicking play.
However, there is no play button available (i'm assuming since it states 0 files have been downloaded)
Is the file in my folder incomplete, and the manager put me back at the end of the line to hope to finish it?
When i right click the file in my Folder .... WarhammerOnline_Beta_FP.zip.dlmpartial ..... it does not give me a 'extract this file' option. When i click open, it ask me to open with WHAT, and asked if it should search the internet for a program that can open this file.
Please advise,
Aces
WarhammerOnline_Beta_FP.zip.dlmpartial
The red part there is the file extension. It is dlmpartial which means that it is a temporary file created as a placeholder for the real file once the Download Manager starts to download it.
When the download is complete the dlmpartial file will be removed and the zip file will be in its place.

Aces what you're seeing is your download timing out while you are downloading, once it does this you get kicked out and you start the lineup from the beggining.
Thanks for the info all, it's much appreciated.
Got one last (hopefully) question .
my temperary file, when i right click and look at the Properites says it's a 9.3GB file. The complete file is supposed to be 9.79 GB. Will it start from scratch or pick up where it left off?
Peace,
Aces
The File Planet download manager supports resuming downloads, so it will pick up from the 9.3 GB.
