Been trying to look around to see if anyone has posted anything about this game yet but i did not find anything.You can find the gameplay trailer on thier official site here bns.plaync.co.kr/ i do suggest downloading it in HD.. its worth it.
Now in the dev interview they say that everything in the trailer is taken from actual gameplay(of course you cant expect the camera to be like the trailers but the gameplay itself looks sick.And the game lead art designer is Hyung Tae Kim wow...That guy is in my top 3 favorite artist along with Masamune Shirow and Range Murata.You can bet all the game character will look sweet!

They want to build the gameplay so it takes our breath away....well i hope they do..sadly the game is estimated to be out in 2010 ugh..

There was a thread discussing the game when ncsoft revealed it some time ago. Anyway, the game looks good, ill give them that, but lets hope they'll invest as much time on content and gameplay mechanics as they are with the art and graphics.
well if i remember correctly somewhere in the dev interview they said all they did right now is working on combat,gameplay and pvp so we can at least hope that part of the game will be good.Now content....i dont know but they still have a lot of time ahead so lets hope for the better.
Being a big l2 junky myself, I can't wait for this ncsoft game. I looked at the video, simply amazing. Glad they are taking their time on developing it and getting it ready for the public, that's good to hear. I loved how they ran on the side of the building up top then jumped over from ropes to the top of another building. Reminds me of the way the ps3 works where you press x to go down the cable, triangle to balance yourself, etc... VERY NEAT to put something like this in an mmorpg.
I love the knife skill. Love the gameplay and graphics. Watching the video makes you feel like you're in the game. I love how when the boss dropped he made a big crashing sound, NOW THAT'S WHAT I LIKE! More realistic features mixed with fantasy and weather as well...wow...this game looks to be damn good. Can't wait until 2010.

if the gameplay IS actually really good, then i will be really surprised.
to me, it seems like we have two types of devs:
the ones that think with their balls, and the ones that think with their brains. and we all know that one type lacks what the other type has, and vice versa.
wake me up in two years... 'til then i'll be dreaming of a dev that actually uses his college degree for something good.

However, to say everyone that works on games have college degrees is a biased statement. Well, because you really don't know who is working on the games. People can learn how to code, do website design, and server operations on their own. Just saying.
Some employees could be related to others. It happens in companies. =/

well, these days to get a decent job with a decent paying company its pretty typical that you need a degree, even if its just a two-year.
anyone can learn to code, but when they put in that application to places like ncsoft, im sure the guy with the college diploma gets the spot, unless the non-collegiate has some seriously stellar portfolio, but even then, idk, cause the college pro will probably have a pretty good one too..
so yeah... idk...
however, you do make a good point about the families, but i'm sure those people who got a spot on a dev team via family relations had to prove they were worthy and skilled first, and not just some basic coder w/o a clue.

Not true. CoH had an option for very large "boobs" in the character generator, but it was a very good game, IMO.
base on the trailer the game look really promising to me. NCsoft is one my favre developer and i'm still waitting for Aion to release in US. and the character design remind me a game i use to played. too bad i forgot what that name was.
