Left WoW for AoC ... the game had so much potential (IMHO), and it failed bad.

So yes I am leaving my game for WAR ... cant wait.

So far the OB has been a disaster and you would think that Mythic would know about MMO's since this is not their first one.
For now I will stay with AOC as it is a much more stable and populated game.

    WTF?!?!?!? is this a joke!?

Dude.. AOC doens't even run on anything over 2 years old. Has about 200k subs as we speak, and has the most meaningless PVP I ever seen.

Anyways.. back to reality.. .. what were we talking about again?

wow you fanboys are really sensitive here when someone speaks the truth about the game. People will see soon enough if they havnt already and WAR will be another bargin bin MMO. AOC could teach them a thing about how PVP is supposed to be done.

Sir, I want what your on

I'm a fan of Warhammer, but I can see that it's not perfect.

When you become so delusional as the lovely Protus-AOC it's really time to take a walk outside.

I'd actually like to meet Protus in real life.

I will see what critics say and some more in-game footage before I decide whether it's worth leaving Guild Wars or not. The WAR PvP has to be superior to that seen in GW if I should consider to leave, and having superior PvP to GW is quite hard - at least according to me.

    No.

I play EVE for real PvP.  I play Ryzom for pure PvE.  If there is a game that combines the two extremes, I'd be interested.  WAR doesn't.

I would never leave my game for WAR, but then my game is The Chronicles of Spellborn (CB). So you might understand why not, or need to inform yourself better.

Not to get more off topic on this post but you have absolutely no idea how many subs that AoC has. Did you just make this number off the top of your head? Or are you using one of those funny foolproof methods of counting players during prime time? Anyway try to avoid posting things that may not be fact  as fact.

Ok back on topic. I currently play Lotro as well and i am still on the fence about WAR. I am definetly going to give it a try and if i like it i guess i will have to subscribe to 2 games for awhile. I think it has a ton of potential and i hope it does very well.

    Have Fun,

    Cen

I use the fool proof method of logging on and looking. Looking for another player. Even durring peak hours finding another player in AOC is becoming harder and harder. Everywhere i go its the same thing, GHOST TOWN, I dont give two shits what the real number of sub's is, when it feels like im in a singleplayer game its too low.

    BTW , I vote yes

All please don't feed Protus and he will go away.

The fact that anyone would defend AoC PvP is hilarious.  The game is for RP's since it looks really good and plays like sh*t.

I had intended to pick up WAR.  After playing the Beta I am having second thoughts.  The game is pretty good but nothing I haven't seen before.

I didn't know I had a game. I play most MMOs, some I like better than others.

I'll play WAR, but soon as WotLK hits and if they open a new server, I'm headed to WoW.

    As will most of you.

I left my old game long ago.....  there has been nothing good since WOW.  I will play this game till a better game comes out.

Na most of us will be enjoying WaR to much to think about WotlK , if there was actualy something new or different other than more ofthe same crap they been hashing out for years then maybe it would peak some interest.

I think I played almost every popular mmorpg out there since 2001 and enjoyed many of them on this path to WaR.

The only thing I am worried about is burning myself out, so gonna take it easy now with mmorpgs.

However, despite what ppl think. I cant wait for SGW, STO and KoToR. I am truly a sci-fi nut at heart.

But going to invest some time in this game now.

I find that all of these games become boring after a while.  Right now I'm playing WoW and it has to be one of the most boring games I've played.  I've played it since day one but I've quit to play something else at least 5 times.  I've been playing the closed/open beta of WAR for a long time, and I have to say I've never been bored and I've see everything that can be seen in the game up to now.  Will I leave WoW again to play WAR?  That depends on how the game is LIVE.  Game content is one thing, what kind of player base it gains is another.  Eve Online has the most intelligent player base I've seen and WoW has the most juvenile.  If WAR is closer to Eve in its player base then I will be leaving WoW for good.

Should have been a 4th option. 'I already left and am waiting in line to log into WAR.'

I am going to stick with what I know.  AOC left a bad taste in my mouth.  Don't want to make that mistake again. I love the big me too crowd until the game comes out and then it is the me hate game crowd.  I will sit back and read the posts and see how the game turns out in a year.  WIll be able to make up my mind with facts not hype.

I had to read that three times before understanding 50% of what you just said.

That aside! You make a good point... just a bit... discombobulated.

Edit: The quote didnt work out so well... this was directed to the person with the Me love/Me hate thing going on.
