It occurred to me that if all Mages are supposed to be the high damage dealers that sit on the back lines, and wizards get the most efficient nukes, while Conjurors get pets that are their most efficient form of damage, what about the Enchanter? What is their most efficient form of damage? Will their nukes be somewhere inbetween the Wizard and the Conjuror? Will they be just as good as the Wizard's except they'll be a different damage type, namely Mind-based? I mean, from the looks of the current spell list at everquest2.com that's how it looks.
If anyone has any additional info please post it.

Well, if they handle it the same way EQLive has, the primary purpose of an Enchanter will be Crowd Control, Haste, Buffs, and Slow (in that order.) While EQLive Enchanters *can* nuke or dot, but their mana is better used doing the above. Buffs help the group kill multiple enemies, while nukes are typically one-shot, single-target damage - usually for no more than 2/3 of the "best" nukers (Wizards) and for a much lower damage to mana ratio.
I hope they keep things the same. Enchanters were hard to play *well* - those that stood out had very rewarding end-game experiences.

It seems that they will have the same stuff as EQI, like the chaos nukes or w/e (its been so long). I loved chanters in EQ and I hope they will be as good in EQ2. It seems like they have taken the pets away from chanters tho, hopefully not. Im sure they will still have Chaotic Intellect and stuff.
