What's the song in the background of the first video? Sounds really familiar....
Which video are you referring to? If you mean the Yaremka video, I don't even remember the name of the song or the artist. It was a random MP3 I found on an old hard drive and it just seemed like a good fit at the time.

I remember all the vidoes that came out before launch and not sure what happened but game was not like what they were showing. I guess i missunderstood what Funcom was doing, I thought they were putting out an online game but they were just interested in money. Oh well maybe these new PR vidoes will pan out. Somehow I doubt it though.

Man how can you guys even enjoy this type of game-play? It's plain silly! Watching that raid against vistrix made me scratch my head, why do people waste energy on stupid raids like that?
AoC was announced as an Action Online RPG, it's not.
This however is what we should have gotten...
An action online rpg mmo with proper boss fights.

OMG, that looks terrible. You have one guy being chased around (very slowly) by some big stupid looking thing and everyone else is just standing there. This is supposed to be fun? The horrible animation in this game never ceases to amaze me. The seem to be going the 0 immersion route with this game.
Is it just the video quality, or do you have to lower the texture settings and turn off shadows to raid?
Yeah I felt the same way about that Raid Boss in the video. I didn't even see a single attack animation from the thing over the entire video it just ran (albeit very slowly) around, in a complete zombiefied stance.

It looks a LOT better in game. Compression brings the vid quality down way more than I'd like it to.
