now it just up to 72 minutes, requesting my money back from d2d, will never buy from them again.
Just imagine how many other people are trying to download the same thing you are. Glad I bought and already downloaded mine a little over a week ago. I would expect a queue to happen, how about you plan ahead next time and don't download a game that is so close to realeasing. Just an idea.
I bought from D2D, the normal preorder version, and I downloaded the Beta clent.
So my question is... When the preorder goes live on the 16th will the Beta client patch up to the retail version or do i have to download a whole new retail version?
D2D is Fileplanet realy, Ive used it for years and always worked great. When a popular game comes out it always has line. If you notice though it does have the links to fileplanets websites. Thats why I said it uses fileplanets servers to download from!
Could be wrong
And I downloaded the preview weekend rvr then I had to download the open beta one which should patch to retail.
Just wanted to let you know the version off of http://www.direct2drive.com is the SE version (Standard Edition) and not the CE version (Collectors Edition)
You will have to wait until Tuesday, September, 16 in order to get into the game headstart.
I don't know what time it will start on the 16th, but they said it would be sometime in the morning. So I doubt it will be at 12:01am and most likely be at 7am.
The reason why I say this is, because the lasttime they said that with open beta it ended up being at 7am. So I'm assuming they are going by the same guidelines again because thier work schedule seems to start 6 - 7am in the morning. I could be wrong though

The SE early start begins at 7:00 a.m. Central Standard Time. That is unless there are delays. Otherwise, everyone go and get a decent night sleep and get ready to roll. Also, if you pre-ordered from D2D and played in beta then you will download a small patch tomorrow that will update you to retail. If you've tried logging into your beta client it won't authorize your log in. Tomorrow, if you put your codes into your Warhammer account then when you log in your log in will authorize, you'll download the patch and voila' you're in the game. D2D kicks ass btw as I have never had problems pre-ordering games from them. When the AoC madness went on with their head start I went to D2D, pre-ordered the game the weekend before the release, got my codes and laughed all the way through the early release (until I realized the game sucked donkey balls) --->
anyone able to download the damn file off fileplanet??? i am getting stuck at 9.32 GB out of 9.34.. keeps giving me a "Failed File Verification" error....
