Still haven't heard back from Mythic or Gamestop regarding my CE Head Start keys. All other keys finally worked for me (OB and Bonus Items). Are they doing to credit those CE customers with bonus time on their accounts?
What is amazing is that the online order status at Gamestop does not even show they are processing order for shipment, which is strange. I'm guessing I won't even get the box until next week, since they only have it set to Ground shipment.

I'm still pissed off they gave me a standard preorder box instead of a CE. I didn't notice the difference until recently. Bonheaded of me, but well.. I've had a lot else on my mind.
At least you got a box (and I presume a standard code). I didn't even get that. I did get a CE headstart code, but it said it was used.
From were I was reading about the CE keys was that some were getting mixed up with the SE keys and some CE customers got the shit end of the stick.

I did read a post here that said CE pre-orders who didn't make the head start for whatever reason will be credited with 4 days game time.
But, even if this was an SE code, wouldn't it at least accept it ... just not allow me to login? Mine simply says the code has been used.

And, how will this be determined?

I would imagine that when you put in your retail key they can see that you didn't play the head start, I honestly don't know, I'm just guessing.
That can mean only one thing. The first batch of Warhammer CE edition they had obtained wasn't enough to supply all their pre orders for customers. They're now waiting on the second batch of stock to arrive of which your order will most likely be apart off. That at least is the typical scenario for a popular releases.

Heck, I ordered in April. You thing they would communicate this stuff. You think they would at least ensure that those that ordered would be able to get into the game from the get go.
I've never actually seen that 7 extra days of free access mentioned on the official Warhammer Online site for the U.S. I suspect the 7 days apply to all European beta testers only, since they had difficulty with the beta launch.
They e-mailed me back, but it was clear they never read the e-mail. I told them the code was bad, not that I didn't get one.
Top it off ... they shipped this thing to me today USPS Media Mail.
lol they weren't the only ones that had difficulty. We did too. We did not play as much, let alone test enough due to maintenances.
I'm pretty sure some of War-Eu players did actually play and still implies they couldn't get in to get some extra days.
The retailer you purchased the game from is who you need to talk to, not Mythic. Email the corporate offices of Gamestop to get it cleared up, but honestly, waiting until now to argue about it is a bit late. You've missed the ship on it and you should have taken care of it before it became a problem. Other people had problems with their keys and got it taken care of fairly quickly. But it's also odd that only one of your keys doesn't work while the others do, again, you have to go through Gamestop, not Mythic. Copy a reciept of your preorder information and they'll take care of it, but they won't credit you the time lost for the HS, as again, you should have gotten it taken care of some time ago.
Added- The 7 day credit is from GOA, not Mythic, and is for their messup of the OB in Europe, so only European accounts will be creditted.
Sometime ago, as in when I was able to go in and set my account up? They already sent me a second set of codes to begin with, because the open beta code never worked that time. All in all, they completely screwed me.
Why the hell pay $30 extra to get the Head Start (I didn't want any of the other crap like the comic book, action figure, and other lead-laced crap that was in the box)? I only wanted the Head Start and the Bonus Codes -- stuff related directly to the game.
The Open Beta turned out to be a huge joke. IIRC, it was supposed to be longer than it actually was. Than they started allowing FilePlanet customers in and had those preview weekends. Basically, they devalued the Open Beta -- nevermind that I ended up getting a Closed Beta invite (two days before they shut things down for the previews and heading into Open Beta).
Gamestop gave me some lame apology about running out of codes, sorry, hope I'll order from them again. Nah, Best Buy opens in my hometown in a few weeks and they've never screwed me on a pre-order (or on anything else for that matter).
