The best/worst pre-order website

What do you think it is? In my opinion, despite not having tried the others, I wouldn't be suprised if EA was mentioned a lot as the worst seeing as I still haven't got my key. Give some recommendations too

Looking forward to the feedback

    EA is rather bad.

I got 2 sets of 3 keys for 1 normal edition. I would love to give you a set of these, but as I am canceled my order, I am affraid that I can't get my money back when you use a set of keys.

EA has the worst customer support ever. Rather wierd if I think about it. One of the biggest publisher, and still they are failing at the basics.

Yes, don't go EA I preordered there and had to cancel. And it's more expensive.

D2D for what I read works well. And I have bought 3 games there and very happy.

How fast do you obtain the keys via D2D and how?

I received mine instantaneously from D2D. It was a very simple process.

I've decided to pre-order from D2D as soon as possible to still have a chance of getting in the headstart. However, EA's customer service is probably the most vile thing i've ever used and i'm getting no where with it, the link to take you to find out if you can cancel your order takes you back to their horrible customer Q&A looking site. I fear that i'll be paying £70 overall to just play the game in the end

    DONT BUY FROM EA

LOL! EA the wost? Obviously you never dealt with SOE. SOE has the worst in history hands down. And let's not forget Failcom. Oh boy... let's not even go there.

The fact that they are asking people to post their information openly in a forum just seems to be asking for trouble.  Not to mention the fact I am sure someone will figure a way to screw over the actual account holders in some way.   Since EA is handling just about all of their customer service issues wrong I see more problems for those people in the future.

If you pre-ordered it from EA via paypal and it hasn't gone through yet then you could cancel it via paypal and then I think that would just cancel the hole thing. Thats what I'm doing, then going to buy it from D2D and hopefully they still give out the headstart codes

In my opinion D2D is the best I have seen.  I have pre-ordered AoC and Warhammer from them and I have not had 1 problem at all.  Both pre-orders worked exactly as they were described in the documentation they provide.  The directions were clear, well written, and easy to understand.  I also have not had 1 instance with them where I didn't get pre-order codes or the codes didn't work.  All in all I give them a 5/5.  I tried pre-ordering my copy of AoC from Amazon.com.  Lmao, worst experience ever as they never sent me the codes for my pre-order and when I contacted their CS department they had no clue whatsoever on what to do to resolve the problem.  Stay away from Amazon.com!
