And yes my english suks, but who cares. many, many people cling to horizons/ come back to it because of . . . wait . . . . wait for it. . . . THE COMMUNITY. Like Cosi said before, horizons attracts a more mature audience and the fact that it's pure players versus enemy adds to the overall goodwill and niceness of the people playing this game. I have played with everything from 8 year old girls to 60+ people in this game and ingame griefing or leet speech is veeeeeerrry rarely encountered (about once per 3 months maybe). Ugly things seem only to happen on the forums. EQ2 and WOW won't be the death of horizons, lack of finances and overall playerbase will be. At least for me, even if horizons goes offline soon, they aren't an alternative, like I fear no mmorpg on the horizon is. Soon after they release, they show their own share of problems. erm, my post sounds immature and I still want to insult many of the above posters who try to trash a game, so my last words of advice is, give horizons a try but not before the end of october, as we still have much chaos and bugs from the big patch/merge and the auctions are shure to stir things up more. And don't care about the totalitarian negative opinions given here, many are outdated, untrue or just plain bollocks.

Don't you see that Tulga is just AE with a name change. Even that Chris guy does not call himself owner of site. That is because DB is the head guy and nothing is going to change except AE is getting out of paying its debts. Unless of course Tulga buys AE out without going to chapter 7 then everyone gets paid off. If they do this I have to ask where the money come from.

ROFL, just the other day they were talking about how they had to close general chat channel down because of all the bad language and sex talk going on. That does not sound like a mature audience. In fact most agree it is very immature. Really i can't believe what most say about this game and how they lie about what is really going on. Like I said a while back I think most that post on Tazoon and argue on VN to force the idea HZ is some great game with hardly any probs. Are really the devs with regular accounts it is the only thing that makes sense. No one that pays for game would just ignore problems and lie about it. Just like today a dev posts about the mob problem and will be fixed by Friday yet someone needs to say there is no mob prob. You really have to wonder what is going on.

This I can agree with. If Horizons was sold to a company that wasn't all bluster and ego, it'd have a chance to become great. They do have some good ideas, just consistently appalling execution. Maybe after AE v2.0 runs out of cash again.
i played Hz for 3 months after beta and in that time it was still beta and seems like there still trying to get game right after all this time , i got to lvl97 and trust me killing lvl60 wolves to get to that lvl was not fun.
also i had changed guild 3 times only because all the memebers were quiting ,the last guild i was in had 36 members well that included a few alts but in the end there was only 4 ppls logging in ,and mainly only one thing kept me to keep playing and that was the peeps in there .
also other points i quit
mem leak was bad bad bad i could only teleport thru to 6 towns (bypassed tazoon city) then had to reboot every time.
i helped destroy all 4 machines to free the new race and all i can say is OMG lag lag lag , 3/4 off the time i was there i was crashing, freezing up, was dead for 10 min and didnt know i was dead stuff like that.
I also upgraded my pute before playing ,the game i can say is a good excuse to upgrade your pute.
but i gotta say they have the best ui i have seen and grats to them for that.

Well that's not much better mate. For every 2 new members you get in your guild 2 whole guilds with 10-20 people in each leave. Sure your going to have games with a lot of mature (and immature players). I've been in WoW Beta for over 3 months now and have yet to party with an immature person. Even on the PvP server, I've hadn't had any issues and there are definitely more people play WoW Beta then Horizons.

Agreed. The GUI in the game is great. Unfortunately the guy who created the gaming interface has left AE during the second layoff. Hopefully another company making a MMORPG hired him immediately.

We on the EU servers don't have the "no/slow mob respawn" problem, the NA servers have, that's no lie. I am paying for this game, I care and for shure I'm no developer of horizons. I won't lie about the issues this game has, with the big overhaul it now feels like beta again but it's a beta I'm willing to pay for. I'm just glad a change like this is even possible. Most other games would only tweak their errors or get alternatives into the game and they do it in costly addons, not in patches. At least if it's such big things like this. I don't know the original David Allen vision, although it was the vision of someone I read that got me into giving it a try. I just can't remember by what David it was written. But I'm glad we don't have angels and demons in the game, it's bad enough to have characters named "Satanica" or "demonicus". I'm not that fond of religious (real world that is) or occult elements in a game. Orcs and goblins would be fun though. Can anyone please direct me to a written version of the original DA vision?

Just to clarify: when I mentioned Horizon's potential to be a great game again I mentioned with another company and under the leadership of a dfferent CEO and I DO sincerely meant THAT!!! I know all about the bankruptcy and I also know who TULGA games is.... I was NOT referring to TULGA when I made my remarks... I guess I am trying to be objective here in talking about Horizons the game..itself. I think it STILL has alot going for it and in the right management hands, IMHO could still be rebuilt into something really good
