At the following site you can take a test of your computer to see if it will run well or not. And what the requirements are

I'm running it on a p4 3.2ghz ht, 4 gigs of ram (on xp32 bit so only 3.25 is recognized), nvidia quadro fx 1400 (workstation graphics card, pci-e, 128mb ram). It runs and there are usually no problems on medium settings, but I think if I upgraded the video card it would be better. Have one ordered just waiting for it.

    Yep

My son is running the game fine with a single core 1.5 gig system memory with an older AGP video card. I think he is running an ATI with 512 megs.

Go to warhammer online or warhammer vault and there is a system check on the site to see if your system will run the game as it is configured now.

One hint for RVR and scenarios , no matter how good your system is click on the main menu and set the video to the fastest framrate and you will be alot happier.  I do run a high end system but, with 50 or 60 players on the screen you will still lag if you do not do this. Reset the setting when not doing scenario's and RVR and you will be fine.

True you will not be seeing alot in far distances but, your objective is to kill players and you will see them and the terrain just fine.

    Hope this helps.

    The requirements for WAR are:

Pentium 4 2.5 GHz, 2 GB RAM, graphic card 128 MB (GeForce 6600 or better), 15 GB HDD, Windows XP/Vista.

I  wouldn't go below the RAM requirements, and this says a Pentium 4 would be just fine.

A stick of ram is cheep!

    See you in Net-Slum.

    One is .......

    AMD 3100+  1.81ghz

    1gb ddr

    GEforce 6200 256mb ram

    Runs ok.

Adjust shadows off, turn performance to balance

I would like to state that in no way shape or form that anything I receive from SOE influences my opinion about SWG or their company. I’m pretty much a typical average player enjoying the game.

thats so not true.. and what exactly does.. " fastest framerates " do.. .. to me it lowers setings to minimum..

as for rvr/scenarions those zones are ones which have best fps in games..  scenarios are allmost always capped at 100 fps cuz its small zone and 20-40 players in it doesnt even tickle any decent gpu..

as for rvr zones..  i was in few.. lagless.. even taking a keep.

open zones.. like pqs and such lag 3x more than rvr zones..  yday i was doing pq with guild.. and my fps started dropping down to 30.. i was like what the hell..

I got about the same CPU, but 2 gigs of ram, and a Geforce 7600 with 512 ram, and it seems to run just fine.

Well, yeah but never run a game on minimum reqs, it makes no justice of the game.

With a single core processor youll be a lot happier if you got a better GFX card. A 7900 is the best AGP card you can get and it's not that expensive... Or have extra memory. Have minimum of 1 or even 2 of these usually works but all 3 and you're in for a bumpy ride.
