After 2 wasted days of trying to log in after having registered and still getting same authenticitation message i am stopping trying,it is sad when a game that has taken years to make cannot even get their log in correct it does not say much about game i will say goodbye to money i paid for discs and just be thenkful i will not waste any money on subscriptions and go back to a proven game WOW which this game has no chance of competing with,it is a disgrace when you cannot even log in although i have seen a friends version and not impressed at all.Goodbye WAR.

Sounds like a simple issue with the codes, but not the game itself. Have you spoken to Mythic Tech Support?

Yeah Mythic is having a real REAL hard time, the game is shit. Obviously the hundreds of thousands of players playing right now are all having the same issue. Shame on mythic for making a near flawless launch for the majority of players.

I had the same problem but i fixed it myself. You have to use your forum id and password to access the game not the acocunt id and password to access your billing and account info on the registration page. USE your forum id and password to access the actual game.

Had the same problem with logging in, gave up too. Tried to get on website to cancel all account stuff, could not do that either. Was not that impressed with the game anywhoo, so much I still have not picked my retain disc from the store.
The code on the instruction booklet in the box must be entered in LOWER CASE, WITH DASHES, even though it's in upper case on the instruction booklet.
The Verification code that you have to copy, is CASE SENSITIVE. But beware, a lower case x, looks about like an upper case X, and a lower case s, looks like an upper case S.
Keep trying, till you get letters like Q and q so you can see the difference.

You can't blame people for quiting over poor customer service. Glad I haven't run into any issues yet.
You have two accounts when installing/registering the game: one for the account management and one for the game logon. For me I use the same username and password.

The authentification process is some sort of filter, it prevent the retarded people to get into the game... Working as expected
Um, this is a game, not a job or potential relationship.
It is supposed to be fun, not a test of your troubleshooting skills. The OP has taken steps to try to correct the issue to no avail. He has taken the advice of some of the people in the thread. Short of stalking Mythic employees he is running low on options and if he already has a MMO he plays that is much more stable, I don't see why he should waste his time.

When I said i had "time", i meant virtual time, i got no RL "time" for you.
This is the issue you are having. I had the same authentication problem but after reading some posts here I realized that I was using the information for my billing, not my actual account log in information. Don't get frustrated, it is a simple fix.
Yeah, I was getting mad before i realized I was putting in e-mail as username when I only needed to put in log in name. I didn't run into any mix up of which log in to use, I made them both the same.
