I was hoping someone could answer this question for me as I have been very loosely following this game.
I hear this game is heavily PvP and from what some of my friends say it's actually all PvP, or RvR whatever you wanna call it. Basically I wanna know if there is a standard PvE server where you can PvP or RvR if you want to but don't have to.

As of yet I havent played this game. However, from what i've heard from friends and what truth i've peiced together from all the bull on these forums, there is pve in the game. You never "have" to touch pvp. However, the pve level cap of 40 is really only half the game, as there are 40 renound ranks to be earned from pvp/rvr. These ranks will give you much more character customisation and make you much stronger. Furthermore, while i'm sure there is some end game pve content, the game was designed to be very pvp centric, thus if you never touch pvp you may feel as if the game is very shallow and without content.

Yeah, you have core servers with consentual pvp. Unless you go into an rvr area, then it's forced.
Kinda defeats the object of playing war if you're not going to pvp. From what I've heard there ain't much in the way of dungeons, and the only one I did (sewers) was a bit lame.
