Ok well i do not play everquest anymore but i started before any expansions were out. Did anybody else miss the East Commonlands trading society? I thought it was rather fun and new people could get used to the game there easier. But now since Luclin and PoK has been out, i think the game is too easy. You can find almost every non rare item as well as get almost anywhere without having to run or get a TP. They screwed all of the druids and wizards who used to sell TP's which i didnt have a problem with. I liked the game before Luclin, what about you?

I won't vote, yes or no, but I will say; that I believe the spires and the PoP books, destroyed alot of what I enjoyed about the game. (spires are part of the luclin expansion).

My dog barks some. Mentally you picture my dog, but I have not told you the type of dog which I have. Perhaps you even picture Toto, from "The Wizard of Oz." But I warn you, my dog is always with me.
I have really mixed feelings. Everything since Luclin seems to have been a mixed bag. I like some of what they've done, and other things I don't care for. I love my Vah Shir, though, so what can I say?
On my server, the trading zone was Gfay, aka "Faymart", and I think I liked that better than the bazaar. A lot more banter, a lot more interaction, somewhat less lag, and plenty of business for the wizard I was playing at the time, ferrying people there and back.
In retrospect, having lived through both the time of boats and through the time of PoK books, I think now that the Luclin spires were a reasonable concession to ease travel. The PoK books, on the other hand, make travel trivial, for the most part (though getting to ToV is still... fun), and many newer players have no idea how the zones are laid out in relation to one another. Sad, really.

I voted "Yes", but I really can only say that Everquest was "different" before Luclin. The game seemed more gritty and untamed before Luclin, which I happened to like. After Luclin was released, it suddenly changed to more of a paradisical wonderland. It felt less down-to-earth (no pun intended).
At any rate, you could definitely tell there was a change in management.
