Theres Perma death in DDO?

I dont know if its been around a long time or something new to DDO but I heard of Permadeath in DDO, is it a guild name or does this game really have permadeath?

    DDO doesnt support perma death, but there are perma death guilds...

    Well, really almost any game supports Perma-Death, so long as they allow you to delete and re-roll.....

    But yes DDO has several Perma-Death guilds spread across the servers, well at least the U.S. ones do.

    There are no in-game options for permadeath, but there have been guilds for it since day-1 that manually delete their dead characters. It is like a completely different game in a PD guild.
