Anyone else having video lag issues?

So, before I begin, I am not some wow kiddie who is crying because my computer is 10 years old. I bought this PC within the year, have 4 gigs of ram and a 512 MB card. I have tried, quite literally... everything... to end this "stuttering" issue the game seems to have in certain PQ and scenario areas. I shut off my second monitor, I lowered the in game menu settings ALL the way down. I even went into my card settings itself, and put it on pure performance and lowered all the settings. It's the same issue, each and every time. Ive played crysis on this system on high settings with good benchmark ratings.

Anyone else experience stuttering in scenarios and certain PQ's? With a good system that SHOULDN'T be stuttering?

Yes, I am also suffering from as forums goers in warhammeraliance.com call Stutterhammer online. I have a Q6600, 8800 gts 512mb and 4gbs of ram. I run AoC on high with very very good frame rates however, as I run through the world By MYSELF in this game it stutters horribly every 5-10 seconds. So yea my friend, you are not the only one with this problem.

I started getting pretty bad slowdowns today, like my computer is really chugging or eating up the memory and using too much hardrive.   I was thinking it was possibly my computer but it is strange that it just started today.  And my laptop, which isn't as powerful, is running the game perfectly on high settings...so I'm not sure what's up.  The one advantage my laptop has is more memory...my hunch is that the latest patch increased the memory load that the game takes on my computer.  This computer has 2 GB and is running 32 bit Vista, whereas my laptop has 4 GB running Vista 64.

2gb with vista is always looking for trouble.

My brother who has a 4870 x 2 was getting the same problems as me with a 8800 GT in tier 2 scenarios, and large spell effect areas.

Quite alot of players are facing this problem, even with high end rig.

I would suggest any players that have this problem to e-mail to E.A support, like me. To let them know the urgency of it....

Yeah I was already thinking about upgrading my memory...cheapest thing I can do right now.  It was just strange how I ran so smooth until today.  Something changed, and as far as I know, it wasn't my computer.  I still think that something in the game changed that caused this.

Do not buy any hardware first, its Mythic end of the problem. And this issue affects both xp and vista. Read the link that i provided and you'll see.

The problem is very weird that seems to randomly affects any pc.... I dont even log in now because of this. If its not fix by the end of my free time, im gona cancel....

It is stuttering alot, but I guess they will improve it. As it is now, the client needs serious work to get closer to the polish and performance needed for the game to be enjoyable.

    I got a 3.2GHz C2D, 2GB RAM, 8800GT, raptor, windows xp.

Yes I get the video lag issues as well.

I also get a weird lag issue where sometimes after I respawn the graphics revert to some sort of ultra-low setting with no textures. After a couple of minutes it suddenly corrects itself so its not that big a deal.

I guess these are just the 'garden variety' bugs that any MMO has at the start & they will fix them in the next week or so. The movement lag issue is the most frustrating, but hopefully that will improve after another post reminded me to add 'War' to my anti-virus exclusion list, Doh!

If you can't "Have your cake & eat it too", then how can "The proof of the pudding be in the eating"?
