Dwarfs seem to have a bad rep for some reason but seem very solid in this game and very fun to play. The engineer's DPS leaves a little to be desired but the class mechanic is fun as hell.

It's hard to tell you which class I like best when I've only tried and am still playing that one. I'm playing the Archmage, which has decent DPS and Heals. The upside is that I am very versatile in and out of RvR; the downside is that I am targeted and killed usually first. There's a ton of Archmages on my server. I've never seen so many Healers in one MMORPG so far.

Problem is that the HE have the ugliest restricted look in the entire game. While the classes are not all that bad, the sheer pain it brings to the eyes makes it difficult to enjoy fully.

Blue and White on everything. Large robes on everything. Its just...eh.. There was a nice discussion about where Mythic went off course from TT lore on the Elves. As we know, they were the last class added, and quite rushed, which explains their lack for individuality.

The dwarves on the other hand, have a problem as well. It tends to do with playing small fat people that look silly. Its true, Dwarfs in the WAR IP are not all fat, believe it or not. But, you dont get that option in WAR Online. Even the hair styles of the Slayer are off limits, which is a bad move imo.

Finally, Order has the only unique classes on the side of order in terms of aesthetics.

All classes can be fun, but part of the fun is looking good while you play.

I must say i cant agree with u on that, lets face it 80% of the time u are zoomed out and u only see the back of ur character.

Maybe its just personall thing but i cant care less how my character looks like.

I love playing my runepriest and i was a little suprised there were so many.. at the server i play sometimes whole groups in a scenario are Runepriest, downside is u arnt gonna kill some orcs easy.

I like playing as a High Elf. I love the lore behind the race and the nobleness of their personalities. I do wish there were more armor looks for Archmages, because my upgrades look like what I just replaced, just with better stats. The die is too much for me to afford, plus they aren't that great looking. I also get a lot of enjoyment from the way I look, however, I have so many things to do in-game, I've hardly noticed the aethstetic flaws.

Looks like my personal grudge against them cone heads counts for allot of folks. Add up the percentages for all High Elf classes and divide them by four and you get a pretty low score. I truly think they should have gone for wood elfs instead of high elfs. They are silly and vain and it rubs off to the whole of Order. SW is a nice class I suppose but I reckon the tree hugging, limb running, natural born killer appeal of wood elfs would have pulled more folks over to the Order side.

Feel free to disagree though ...

the dwarf men are executed perfectly.  The women, not so much due to ugly faces.  But due to RP, I made my dwarf servantgirl still. I was really upset when I found out that the option to put scars on the High Elves were taken away.  My fav was to put a missing eye on my White Lion.  I really got upset when I found otu the humans got friggin eyepatches, but the dwarves didn't.  Good looking eye patches too.

I actually like almost all the order's career mechanics, but I've settled on Warrior Priest.  Being able to flee and still heal myself without any energy is very underrated =D

lol..I hope my character combed their hair today... or else I might have to delete him because he will be ugly... I dont care how he performs.. just give me a barbie doll to run around killing things!!!!

/no .. I can't agree with that above statement.. Its a fantasy game, and fantasy creatures and humanoids are not always pretty (like orcs) but they do what they need to do per the setting..

So far I haven't found a class on the order side I liked yet.  :(

FireMage FTW! er, I mean bright wizard... yeah, that's it. So far the only class I've played which isn't dreadfully dull.

I'm loving the Ironbreaker at the moment.  My problem is I want to try all the classes but if I do I'm never going to get above level 20 with my limited play time.  But the IB might just allow me to settle down...we will see I'm still only level 7, heh.

I don't believe anywhere in there did he say he doesn't care how he performs, someone is jumping the gun.  Looks matter to me too its just a matter of personal opinion.  I care a lot how my character looks but I still rock out every RvR battle and end up with the highest amount healed.

On another note I completely agree that the high elves could have gotten a little more attention in the looks area but I still like my char just fine.

Well I like doing offensive dps therefore I tried out Bright Wizard on Order and I absolutely loved it. I'll be doing another one when I get to buy the game soooooooooooon! Mohawks on her = ftw! Personally I'm not the healing type. I've seen how people treat the healers and you kept getting messages how you suck, delayed on healing them and they die.. blaming on you and whatnot. That's the kind of scenario I'm not interested in. Dpsing is what I favor (basically on the neutral side with no pressure) hee hee.

Are they ever going to add a tank class on order? (Like a total meatshield such as Chosen for Destro)
