IMHO War was worth the wait.

I've not been playing any MMOs with consistancy for a couple of years, mainly jumping in and out of WoW, but i can finally "settle down" with a game i can enjoy.

WAR probably isnt a "WoW Killer" but WoW doesnt need killing, they can keep all of the raging Pre-Teens that would put their life down to defend Blizzard, After all, they are the ones that turn a games community into trash.

Anyone else enjoying this brilliant game?

I am.  And the great part is, the more I level, the more my guild and friends level, the more stuff I discover about the game that I enjoy and is also fun.  People write this game off so quickly as another wow or lotro clone, which is ridiculous because people have just barely scratched the surface of this gem.  I know im going to be playing it for awhile.

What I love best is the open group structure. LFG is a thing of the past.

I love it. It makes the game so much more cohesive. You get to know people by ability instead of grouping with the same folks because you're scared of PUGs like WoW was.

That really inspires the feeling of "We're all on the same side" in Warhammer, which is, of course, part of the core of the game. "I don't care who you are or what you're wearing, just get here and HOLD THE DAMN LINE!"

That, to me, is the genre-changing paradigm shift that WAR brings to this crowded MMO table. For that alone, I love it to death.
