WAR Delivers; Thanks, Mythic.

in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

I've been playing WAR almost nonstop since the beginning of the open beta.

Five days after launch, I'm in an awesome PvP guild, my main character is Rank 22 / Renown Rank 17, and even though I've been playing the **** out of the game, it just keeps getting better and better.

Normally, by this time, my "honeymoon" with a new MMORPG would be over, and it would all start to go downhill. Not so with WAR.

Mythic delivered more than I could ever have hoped for.

It has had the cleanest, most bug-free launch in the history of MMORPGs. Yes, there have been problems. There are still lots of issues. But none of them are game-breaking, and Mythic seems very determined to solve issues and listen to the player base.

I won't say WAR will be a WoW-killer. I will say, however, that if any MMORPG can possibly topple WoW, WAR is it.

It's like a faceful of fun, and it has something for everyone. Also the best PvP in any MMORPG I've played.

I can't wait to see what's coming in the future. This game is the messiah of the genre and deserves all possible praise.

    a centrally based place for information about the game and guilds in-game would make it better.

    but whatever.

    could we please get correspondent writers and moderators, on the eve forum at mmorpg.com, who are well-versed on eve-online and aren't just passersby pushing buttons? pretty please?

    For once, my troll ass can say nothing bad about this thread. WAR rules compared to other games. Its a little laggy, and a little buggy, but just seeing three gold farmers getting publicly denounced with In Character comments from the admins was enough to make me love this game.

    ya so in game when ever a goldfarmer is banned it announces it in liek a rp setting like as in an orc

    something like

    CAught sum' git sellin fake shellings and fed em' to me squigs.

    or something like that in a lil box in the mid of the screen then u click ok and it goes away.

    kinda awesome imo     wow doesnt ban there gold farmers

    cuz u no there in on it   they get the sub money and shit so they let them stay

    I decided never to try warhammer because I got shafted when I pre-ordered 2 copys of it.I played daoc for hmm 4 years roughly, 17 lvl 50s and then try to buy another game from myth and ended up with 114 bucks wasted.No thanks if thats whats in store ill go find something else.

    You get a pop up box with something on par with your race basicly saying "so and so gold seller got banned". Its actually really cool. Before someone says "Thats bs they are just saying that they are just making the name up" thats not true. I got a popup about 30 seconds after I got a tell that banned that exact person lol. Rather refreshing actually and as much as I thought the popups would annoy the hell out of me they havent so far.
