Am I the only Virtual Hoarder out there?
I hate having to sell my items, especially quest/influence rewards. I'm not sure why it is, but I think it's something to do with knowing I'll never be able to get those items again. My backpack's starting to get pretty full and I'm having to sell items which I've been able to upgrade (which I hate).
So, am I the only one that feels like this? Do you ever wish you didn't have to get rid of items? Or do you just sell stuff without a second thought? I'd be interesting to hear people's thoughts.

Yea i'm a packrat by nature. Yet even I must sell those damned Greenie seeds I'll never use. Limitations on bag space is just too strong an influence

Just a tip: at your local capital you'll find a bank with a default of 80, yes, that is correct, 80 slots to fill with your booty and obsolete quest rewards.

LOL everyone and there grandmother did this back in pre NGE SWG....I had this one friend who had all his houses and correllian freighter filled to the max....but he didnt stop there, he was so far gone he even started asking friends (including me) to "loan" him one of our housing allocations each.
For some reason he felt he had to have one of every single item in the game.
Gotta catch'em all!
Well, when I first started playing MMOs (EQ, right before Scars of Velious came out) I was a pack rat. I kept everything then sorted it out later to see what was available to just sell to merchants, then sellable to players, then usable by me. Generally I kept a lot of equipment for myself.
Now when I started to play WoW, I played completely different. I sold every single item in a heartbeat. It seemed in WoW than EQ that coin was more valuable than gear. So selling everything you have will get you to that point were you can start using that coin for items and still have enough left for any issues or other things that arise.
Really, I have no idea what changed my way to sell items. Gameplay? Could be. Fun of grouping maybe? I have always been a solo player but did like to group every now and then. Age? Did I just get older and think differently? Sure, that could have easily happen. But in all honesty, to me, it really does not matter.
MMOs Played: I can no longer list them all in the 500 character limit.
LOL! I have 4 accounts in SWG and I had each account's housing lots maxed with houses and they were all full of gear. God keeping that organized was a game itself. I still am a packrat and am a little disappointed when I have to sell something. Thank God I get 8 or so character slots in this game. That's like what.....640 slots for items in the bank? /evillaugh
Awesome - but when (roughly) do you reach the capital? Can you just head there at any time?

Yes! Find the flightmaster at your local warcamp close to an RvR area and fly, fly, fly!

Only thing I hoard is low level items to send to my alts.
"Oh heck a Witch Elf shoe...hmmm, maybe one day I will play a Witch Elf"
Since I am not a fan of female toons played by a guy, it's unlikely but it's sitting in my bank anyway.
Hah I know how that was in SWG! I was an Architect back in the day. Aside from keeping all of my found items and such to decorate my houses, I was using about 30 "slots" from friends/family for my heavy harvestors, plus different shops on various planets for the minerals I gathered. My fiancee had about that too for the oil and such she was collecting for tailoring! We were absolutely addicted!
