Kinship, no "g". Like a family, or kin, I guess (sort of dorky).
You might try the official boards, in the sub-forum for your server (although I've tried that without any luck). Also weird that you almost never see any recruiting in game, either.

I see recruiting now and again in-game. At least on the Elendilmir server.

UPDATE: Never mind found it.
One thing i wish they would do is add a recruitment bulliten board to the game. Were kinships can post that they are recuiting and who to conact. I would even pay game money to post on such a board for my kinship.
