There is only one thing that I wish they would fix with WAR and that is the auto-run feature. Auto-run is bound by default to a mouse button and num lock. I have my vent talk key that same mouse button b/c its easier for me. When I change the default settings for the auto-run buttons it will disable the mouse auto-run. However, whenver I relaunch the game, it renables the moused auto-run. i check the key bind settings and it says that only the num-lock should work for auto-run only. Please does anyone know how to permintely set these key bindings or perminently disable the mouse-key autorun.

How is this a bug?
Choose a new key for vent speak, or use the auto-pickup.
I'm guessing the right clicker is your vent speak button? Many games give the ability to run when pressing right and left mouse at the same time. In this case auto-run would not be your problem.

Ah, this was a problem with my beta client. The settings ini/xml/whatever file was locked as read-only. So when I would make the changes in game, they wouldn't save.
Installing the client from disks removed that issue for me, and so far I have had no problems with my UI/Settings/Keybindings not staying.

Try editing the userSettings.xml file in the <warInstall>user directory. Look for a line like the following and try manually deleting it and then saving the file.

It sounded more like he was accidentally hitting the 2 mouse button run control which (when I had WoW installed) would go back to the normal state every restart.
Thus I figured he was just mistakenly rebinding the wrong thing.
Now if he has a mouse with more than two buttons, that is a different story.

I have the G5 mouse and looked at the xml file and it has only Numlock for auto run and is not checked read only. But still have the problem, I guess I can only bugg it and hope for the best.
What mouse button are you trying to bind it to?
Mouse button 1, 2, 3, 4, 5?

It would be mouse button 4, the side button.
Aye, in all games with autorun I have it bound to my side button. I was happily surprised that Mythic coded this at default. Those with a nice mouse are golden. Those without should really buy one anyway.

There is a definite bug regarding key mapping. I use my side button to talk as well, especially useful in FPS's, so I changed autorun to num-lock. The annoying thing is that the game remaps the keys to default even though your key mapping shows what you saved them as, so you have to then reset them to defaults and make new maps for that game session and do that every single time you restart the client. It's damn annoying.
The bug that is driving me crazy is the UI bug where every time I log in all the UI windows are resized and out of place. I have to take about 5 minutes every time to resize and place every thing. Frustrating.
