Can my system Handle Warhammer?

I have an inspirion 1525 Notebook with the following Specs

2GB Memory

95.8 GB of free space

The only thing im worried about is 1.83 Ghz with Intel Core 2 duo Processor

IF you need to know any other information let me know.

EDIT: I used to play WoW and EQ2 and Anarchy online and stuff and all that ran fine but with WAR's improved graphics and stuff i don't know how my laptop will handle it i don't want to get WAR if i can't play it and i just bought this laptop.

I think you'll do just fine, maybe not on max settings but that's the price we pay for portable eh ;)

However, to be perfectly sure, look WAR up on www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest

Processor and RAM sound ok. Your hard drive is probably running at 5400 RPM but I don't think that would hurt too much.  However, with laptops the tough part is your graphics card... You didn't mention what it was and I know that the Dells generally have multiple options per model so I think that may be your biggest bottleneck depending on what you have.

Oh, and bumping your own post after a whole 5 minutes seems a bit rude.  ;)

    Most probably, yes.

That could be a bit tough or easy as pie depending on how removable laptop video cards are.

You do need a video card that can run with WAR, an unsupported model just causes problems such as crashes, sound problems (Yes sounds weird but a sound problem i had with EQ2 related directly to my video card being insufficient for it) and other nasty stuff, that is if you can run the game at all.

Invest in a decent video card, if you want budget prices try a geforce 6-7xxx, if you want something with a little more bang but more costly stuff then i suggest trying out some of the newer models, the price ranges varies from 20-150 bucks depnding on what model you choose.

As to where finding someplace to buy the card, well that depends on where you live, but usually you can find a few decent retailers by doing a google search, and do make sure it's a laptop model you're buying :P.

Not in any way i have heard of, if it failed the test i linked to, it pretty much means it's unsupported and will not run easily with WAR, or maybe it runs but strange graphical errors shows up, or it crashes every second minute.

Do yourself a favor and invest in a supported video card, that will be good for future game purchases too.

Ah man just bought this laptop now I need to buy more stuff.

EDIT: Upon further research i have found that it is nearly impossible to upgrade a 1525 Gaming card.

Looks like i will bever be able to play WoW.

Anyone else know if there is any way i could still play this game on this system considering i can't upgrade the video card.
