More mercenary classes?

Would you like to see more mercenary classes, like beasts or paladins in the game? I think it would be a nice addition if we can use animal mercenaries similar to FF tactics. Or even more types of human mercenaries - maybe additional Western-class mercenaries. Perhaps it would be possible to be a part of a guild that controls a town, and that guild can be the only one to have access to mercenaries of that particular type. It would create additional incentives for capturing cities. Another idea would be to have item mall sell these mercenary types.
I really like the Leonidas mercenary, brought a smile to my face because it reminded me of the Spartan King. I think mixing and matching mercenaries is a large part of the game experience.
