I'm curious as to what level the haters made it up to before they decided this game "sucked." Try to be honest. I'm sure I'll get a lot of dishonest votes, but what the hell....
well its fun , but i mean its also the type of game that not everyone is going to like.
I dont love it , but its fun as hell for me.
EDIT- and besides most haters dont even get the basic mechanics or flow of the game right, so even when they all click i hit rank 40-RR 72 in 27 mins flat it wont really tell you much.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.
I have a like / hate relationship with WAR atm. I think the game is excellent, but it is far from perfect. I will continue to play it as long as my friends continue to play it though.
it has a great pvp system, but the pve seems low bufget, i mean, i was hoping for atleast as good pve game like wow was when it came out.. hopefully later , and many patches, the game will have a pve system like eq2 and wow. the lag of loot is there.. its not like u can gon loot hunt, and would like to see some more dungeons... i know its a RvR game, but the pve need to be there aswell. atm i barely touch the pve, cous its not solid enough, so i only do scenerios
didn't vote in the poll as the answers are limiting i just found scenarios to be to much like wow bg's (big minus to the game) and rvr to be a boxed in area i thought war was about open world pvp boy am i wrong there are no world pvp objectives. i am only level 17 since level 13 it has been a grind to level in pvp you have to do scenarios to level in world pvp would take forever pve is just go kill x boars and return to gork in settlement X i was told wait till you get to 40 that is where the game begins (funny it started with me at 1 if it begins at 40)pq's are nothing but a gear grind and get boring quick and as i stated no world objectives at my level and boring content is what i see had a few fun moments in pvp but it all ends when you get to the other sides warcamp and the NPC heroes ruin the fun
I can't vote because you didn't leave any middle ground for those of us who like playing WAR, and are having fun playing WAR, but who also understand that it is not the best game ever made. My vote, It's fun, and I'm going to keep playing it as long as I'm having fun. However it is not my life, or obsession, so saying I love it would definitely be a stretch.
I think most people that play the game, really enjoy it. I have yet to meet someone that hates the game and went past rank 20, but I guess there can be a few out there.
I agree, the poll questions are very limiting. There are many more choices that you could have added beside just using Love and Hate.
I love my wife and children but I dont love a video game. Warhammer is a nice game and I enjoy playing it. I dont hate AoC but that game isnt my enjoyable for my playstyle.
You might want to try wording your next poll differently.
I wish I knew what people find so appealing about WAR. I tried it and kept getting the feeling that I'd be better off playing LOTRO or WoW. And I don't even like those kind of MMOs.
I'm curious as to what level the haters made it up to before they decided this game "sucked." Try to be honest. I'm sure I'll get a lot of dishonest votes, but what the hell....
I'm absolutely sure there are people that just like the game or didn't like it. I like it, don't love it, but don't hate it either.
Why is it that anyone who expresses a negative view is branded a hater and anyone who says something positive is a fanboy or lover?
You poll is flawed and designed specifically to produce the results you seem to want to hear.
so thoughts came to mind if as i read this thread. Why is someones view of hating a game made invalid if they didn't make it to say lv 25. Would you play something you hated just so you could gain credibilty in what you post, The whole argument of just being a hater and not giving the game a chance seems arse backwards. now if someone played only to lv 2 and they stopped and said it was the worst thing they play..... i would still give credit to HIS opinion insofar as its his opinion but i don't ignore it either. everyones opinion is valid, and discrediting i would say 25% of the people that play or played war is just going to increase the bias and fanboyism that surrounds the game.
For me personally i felt i gave the game 4 shots and everytime it failed: preview weekend i got to lv 10 on three chracters, open beta i got another, and now i played up one character to lv 10 on order sider and stopedd for a while then did the same on destro. everytime around lv 10 i lost my will to lv.
Hype is my nemesis. i will fight it til the day i die whether i take it down or it takes me down. So depressing, Yes?

Its a shame, the game really takes off in tier 2 after level 11
everyone i have seen who hated warhammer did exactly what you did, tried a bunch of characters, leveling them each to not more than 10 levels, then decided that the gameplay was going to be the same for the whole game.
Im not going to lie, the first 10 levels are kind of crappy...you dont know really what to do, or what to expect, all you know is that you dont have a lot of skills, and that really effects the gameplay.
Once your character gets a nice selection of skills, it really opens up a lot of gameplay strategy, which is loads of fun in RvR, and makes PVE a lot better.
In my opinion most people who play 10 or so levels in a game, especially where people are constantly telling you its better at 11-15+ (mastery points start at 11) tried the game with the expectations of hating it, which is fine, but it really gives a closed minded feel for a game that really does grow on you.
Your not a fanboi if you like a game and are having fun, your a fanboi if you love a game youve never played.

The problem with that is every game seems to have people who say how much better things get after X level. From my experience that has yet to be the case.
More skills does help some and expertise doesn't really boost much I have noticed yet for the first few levels. In that I mean it wasn't like I said to myself "WoW I couldn't do that at level 8" or whatever. I'm sure that will make a bigger difference as levels go on, but not so much at 11-15 as stated. Keep sieges are nice too.
All that aside, it really is the same game as T1 as far as I have seen. I think the game gives a better experience if you fall into the bigger mass of players leveling up, which seems to be around the beginning stages of T3 right now. Lower than that and you are stuck with fewer people to play with. PQ's are nearly impossible to complete, scenarios are running ok, but filled with the same 10-15 people each round. There isn't much world PvP due to smaller player pops.

i dont hate or love it, its a nice game, but i dont love it

Lol! Gotta love the trolls who right away voted for 20+ and hating it.
What do you expect when you only have love or hate?
If someone didn't like it even a little bit, they aren't going to pick "I love it"

If the vote for the haters ends up 100% (or close to it) level 20+, it will only prove that this board is full of a bunch of immature little brats.

poll is too limiting. I cannot say I love it or hate it right now.
Waiting for the next thing
Lol, so basically you're discounting all negative votes as being 'from haters'.
Go figure.
Or better yet:

I hope this helps.
I stopped playing in beta3 after the annoucement of removed cities and classes.
MMOs Played: I can no longer list them all in the 500 character limit.
It's one of those game where I dont really hate it but I don't love it either in the end I'am a bit indifferent overall.
I think most people that play the game, really enjoy it. I have yet to meet someone that hates the game and went past rank 20, but I guess there can be a few out there.

Kinda a bad poll.... Love and Hate are pretty strong. I like the game I'm not sure I'd say I love the game.

I wish your poll compared WAR to WOW... I'd do anything to bash WOW. (Although I do like WAR as it is now but only have a lvl 10).
