I thought you guys knew how the forums worked! I (or you) post stuff to see them up on the internet. Then we both argue aimlessly about what I (or you) put up, we both produce highly questionable "facts" and "figures", we fling veiled insults and venom. We then all post up bloated and self important overlong speeches of our expertise at this or that. Then we all move on to another topic, convinced of our rightness and the ignorance of the masses, and dream of a day when the world will think like we do.

So damn true. You just blew my mind, or what's left of it, anyway.I think the MMORPG reference was about the prevalence of hobbies that require no physical exertion. I'm not sure if it's more funny or sad, but you have to admit that the current American culture is bulking up.
I'm not sure why people get offended over it, it's not like you actually defaced the artwork itself. I hope they never have a caricature made of themself, they'd probably get in a fight with the artist.
I don't believe it was created for humor. Look at the captions, "Move or get fat". The world is getting fat because of technological advances which provide us the opportunity to sit and do nothing else.
I'm going to have to agree with Dekron on this one. I suspect, taken in context of it's original venue, it would have been appropriate. The humor of "Body by WoW" was lost though IMO.

I second this about Michelangelo's statue. I don't feel it's appropriate to photoshop something beautiful like this. I'm biased towards the real statue, it's such a beautiful piece of work. Anyone who photoshops it doesn't realise what work and knowledge went into it.
(I do have a sense of humor, I just don't think this is funny.)
