Newbie, scenario access?

in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

Hi all

Took the plunge and brought Warhammer yesterday.

Soon after starting, I got a quest to do Khaine's Embrace.  I selected solo queue.  6 hrs later, I was still queueing???  Is this because I am too lower level?

 

Tried this morning, 1hr playing, still no entrance?

 

Shadow Warrior L7, Yvresse server

    if you queued to do the senario then you have to wait for it.  It has nothing to do with your level so no worries there.

     

    Some days I queue up and wait hours.  others I wait 3 minutes and i'm in.  it appears to matter if enough ppl are in the queue.  That's my take.

    This is a real problem on many servers. Many players don't even know how to queue up for a scenario and in some cases there are not enough players willing to do scenarios because they are busy with PvE or in the RvR lakes.

    Also, after the initial release rush there might not be a lot of players in the Tier 1 zone anymore. I would suggest you level to 11 and join the Tier 2 scenarios, those do pop very often (Stonetroll Crossing and Mourkain's Temple are the most popular), at prime time almost every minute.

    I agree if anyone says that this is a flaw in the game, but as with any heavy PvP/RvR focused game, it only works if you got enemies to fight.

    Its not because you lvl but because low populated server. Try greenskin scenario as I heared they are most populated. On my full populated server I get no more than a minute, very ofter just up to 10 sek to get in scenario in both t1 and t2.

    Where themepark games try to hide that they are copying WOW, games like Mortal Online and Darkfall make no attempt to hide their inspiration

    What server are you on? I play Order on Sea of Claws, and I don't think I've ever waited more than 10 minutes to get in a scenario... Sometimes I get in so often that I get no quests accomplished because it pops every few seconds or so after I queue in. Granted, I'm still in Tier1, so I don't know what will be happening in the other tiers.

     

    I have some friends that are playing destruction and after at least a dozen hours of playtime, have never been in a scenario. Its pretty sad, I think Mythic needs to find a way to speed it up. (at least give us an approximate wait timer so people can see what to expect)

     

    Edit: One more thing, get yourself to a warcamp, then fly to the other 2 warcamps and queue in there... That way you are queued for 3 different scenarios greatly increasing your chance to get in one and bang some heads.

    It's a matter of balance- i usually don't have to wait long for scenarios ever, but i had a que over an hour last night...

    Thanks all.

    I will persevere. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong. 

    Should have picked a busier server
